I am so addicted to the game that I play it for 3-4 hours without a care in the world, does the developer have any ideas on how to deal with this?
The time I spent away from the game for a month or so was peaceful, but when I play it on a whim, I get swamped again and can’t get out.
I don’t know if I’d call it an addiction for me. As a good majority of WW2 games, and frankly, just games in general I find garbage these days. Says something I am fairly netural, to actually liking this game. For all its faults and what is going on right now.
But the moment they add pink furry cat suits or grandma with four mini guns strapped to a wheelchair… Or those damn loot boxes, I’m out of here!
I play a lot of games, CoD, Battlefield, Cyberpunk, Baldur’s Gate…
But for many games 2 hours a week is enough.
But with Enlisted, I can play 6 hours a day and not get bored.
No, you get bored for a moment, but then you quit the game, look at the forums, and you want to play again.
I seriously suspect that the game has some kind of hypnotic effect.
Or Darkflow is really talented at making games.…
No, I don’t know about that…? I don’t know…
I heard that WT will have the ability to limit the amount of time played per day, and I seriously hope they put that on Enlisted as well. I’d be willing to pay $30 or so.
Well, judging by the monthly events, they will never put such a feature.
I have the oposite issue
I want to play the game but after 4 matches I get bored or annoyed and don’t touch it for next 2-3 weeks. I don’t really know why.
More seriously though, imo as long as you don’t feel forced to play the game and you can resist temptation, it’s not an addiction. You just like the game and want to play it.
But I’m just a random from the internet so don’t rely on this info too much.
The game is indeed super fun.
Every day, when I’m finished playing all the events and everything else I can do/get, I also watch other gamer’s gameplay on YT.
For amusement and to see if I can get better.
Also I upload my own battles on YT and rewatch them for fun and to see what I missed/did wrong.
My 10 year old nephew (calls himself “pro gamer”) loves to watch my battles.
So yes I spend several hours per day on this game.
But I have 100% free time 24/7/365.
So for me it’s just fun, passing time, no addiction.
Also, I always say: “an addiction only becomes a problem when you stop taking the drug”
No sir, it was you who shot down my Stuka first. Although the last bullet was not your score because it was taken by the SBD that was by your side.
I blushed and immediately dispatched my Bf 109 to shoot down your P-51 and SBD.
Then, as the match was almost over with the Americans winning, I predicted that you would return to the air, having been fighting on the ground.
I surprised you at the spawn point with my Me 410, but you sensed it and fired a head-on shot and quickly shot out the engine of my Me 410 with a .50 caliber!
Good job sir!
yeah same… maybe it is cause i am jaded gamer that has been playing various games for 20+ years. when i was young i could have spent 8 or 10 hours in front of a game, now i play game or two and it is enough for a while.
if anything i think that i am spending more time on forum than i am actually playing the game.
Personally I just don’t have as much free time as I used to. So playing a game that “feels like a job” due to all the events and grind is discouraging. Or simply I can’t be bothered with competetive games.
It was a great battle, intense and enjoyable.
On the ground and in the air.
Victory could have gone both ways.
It was nice to meet the great sexytent again in battle.
Wow! This is my planes! Thank you sir for going out of your way to check the replay and even take a picture!
Oh, was your aircraft an F4UCorsair, I thought it was a P51 by looking at the silhouette!
I had not noticed this!
I have never seen anyone try to shoot down an enemy plane with a free-fall bomb before!
Yes sir, it was a fun match with you!
You were a tough and challenging opponent. I lost this time, but next time we meet, I hope to beat you in a dogfight!
And your Thunderbolt is very cool, I have never seen tail art before.
I have never seen that in a store.
Next time I see a Thunderbolt with a cute GI JANE on the tail, I will remember that there is a Nazi hunter “warhead” in the sky!
