Honestly I almost think it was dev laziness to not bother giving them a unique weapon. Why do you think they still haven’t given other factions customizable Paratroopers
They could’ve given them the SKT and AKT, SVT carbines designed specifically for Paratroopers! They could’ve had a unique weapon

having interchangeable weapons is a big advantage, they are not limited to a specific BR.

Yes but the devs haven’t added them to the other factions or even RT Paratroopers that would be customizable
