Commanders, in the “Jet Power” update we have changed how boosters work and made the battle preparation phase more convenient. There are several significant changes awaiting you:
Boosters
Now it will be easier to use boosters efficiently and get more experience.
Received boosters are activated immediately, as before, but they can always be deactivated if you want to use them at a more convenient time.
Up to three boosters can be activated manually.
Boosters expire after 7 days, even if they are not active.
Added new icons showing the state of the boosters and their duration.
Buy equipment for a specific BR
We have added a new “Buy for BR” option to Presets when preparing for battle. It can be used to equip or purchase the best researched equipment for a specific BR. This will help you get into battles faster, without having to spend extra time searching for the right equipment.
Autofill squad with soldiers
When setting up a squad, there is a new “Autofill squad” button, which will try to fill the empty slots with soldiers based on their specialization and level. It first selects soldiers of the same class as the squad, then other specialists and finally fills the remaining slots with riflemen.
If there are not enough soldiers in the reserve, the game will offer some solutions:
Only add the available soldiers
Purchase additional soldiers from the shop
These new features are meant to make the game more convenient for experienced players and friendlier for beginners. What do you think about the “Jet Power” update? Share your opinion about these new changes!
“Buy for BR” feature was barely working as intended as it always tried to buy and fully upgrade PPSh-41 Obrez + binoculars.
I bet on other BRs it would be as bad but can’t check as servers are now down. I wish we could personalize what’s the best for us as the player with our own preference.
Also Best for BR feature got broken again even at this patch for example at BR5 it tries to force Luftfaust at you + binoculars. It tries to replace guerrilla tnt with a mine??? And also luger with Beretta m1934 (but why?) Trench club with Axe? For BR2 rifleman it gives you Armeguerra despite it being one of the worst rifles in the game.
Tanker automatic loadouts need some work. It should give them a primary weapon/pistol and large backpack with 4x tools or 3x tools/1x medkit if he is at the slot 3-5.
Meh. I won’t trust a computer to handle my purchases for me. No idea who will like this new system, presumably those that really don’t care what they bring into battle, but this is not for me.
I hope you’ll consider reevaluating the silver-chest drop rates, otherwise you’ll end up with more boosters than you’ll know what to do with after this update. Remove boosters, remove calsign orders (it’s enough to get a couple in every BP, I have +100 that I’ll never use) and increase the amounts of customization orders.
For actual veterans those boxes are very bad. I have all vehicles and almost all squads and for past 2 times when we had boxes i have never get actual good weapon drops only at best sword/knife or a pistol.
They really should make weapon drops drop way more often, from 3% → 9% and also normalize all of them so melee, pistols and other weapons would have same % chance, you don’t need to punish me two times.
And also add pity so after 30 rolls you would be guaranteed to get item you don’t already own. And remove callsigns as they are less than worthless.
Can we review again the issue of lowering the experience requirements for the old team? Compared to the new team that joined after the merger, the experience requirements of the old team are indeed unreasonable
Silver-chests serve that weird group of people who have played enough to have already finished grinding the things they want to use (and therefor has not much left to waste silver on), but haven’t played the game for long enough to have recieved the unique squads they want. I am one of these people, but surely I must be a minority?
Newcomers who have squads or weapons they missed out on don’t have the silver to waste (certainly not in the ammounts to have any real chance to get what they want), and veterans whilst they have the silver already have the things already. In short, the system is not really that good.
You can also not guarantee drops for a certain faction, or exclude one you don’t intend on playing. I have recieved several Soviet squads and weapons (it’s the most of what I’ve gotten), but I’m never going to play the Soviets, so it’s utterly worthless to me.
