So the majority of battle pass subscribers should have obtained the gold weapon order by now, or be close to. We got some nice new additions this time also (some nice semi autos, a literal hand canon for the soviets, some early variations of assault rifles…)
I thought it’d be interesting to hear what you guys chose, why, and if you are satisfied by the weapon you got. Knowing pros and cons about those could also help those who have yet to choose anything.
I myself chose the German early assault rifle for Moscow, because I felt my assaulters were lacking a bit of firepower (already have the wonderful Suomi) But I was really torn between it and the Soviet Hand canon.
I’ve got about 5 more days but I would probably choose the mkb35 as well. But I would highly recommend m2a1 if you either hate yourself or love the carbines too much
Oh, I find the regular semi auto carbines to be especially lethal IF you have the 40% vert. Recoil reduction perk. It becomes a wonderful weapon of doom, I love it
MKb 35 for me and the PZ4 for the golden vehicle both in Moscow. I’m early in the Moscow campaign and getting what’s essentially an assault rifle is incredibly powerful especially early on
Would also add I grabbed the Pederson rifle with my day 15 golden order in Tunisia and it is amazing there. Semi autos aren’t out until level 25 so its a great choice
I picked the Pedersen for Normandy this time around, grabbed the Berdan last time. Neat guns, and I like picking things I’ll use/might be effective. The sights on the Pedersen are finer than on the garand, and ten round magazines are nice. Plus, they put it in chambered for .276 pedersen, so my gun/history nerd loves it.
I have every single one on batlepass one, with 3 copies of the schmeisser mk3.
I bought the g43 8mm on season 2 and mk on current batlepass.
I intend to buy every single batlepass weapon from season 2, on the last week or so of. Current pass. Same for vehicles.
I ill collect everything i can.
For future reference, I ill always spend my gold order on Berlin, and buy previous BP weapons next season.

Current mk on Berlin it’s a solid auto rifle 2 hit kill with low recoil and fast. Reload.
Good sight picture. Again, isn’t an stg. But, right now, it plays like one.
Season one my favorite was the schmeisser and or the pederson devise one. Remaining bolt actions on moscow or so from season one I haven’t even played with them since I m yet to start Moscow fully. One day I ill enjoy them as I keep buying squads, slots and what ever for. It.
I went with the MK35 on Berlin, to round out my Squad of Doom (Bomber squad maxed with 5 Star guys).
Its nice, a little slow to fire, but very controllable. I actually posted a video (though the Audio had some issues on that stream) with me playing with it.
It was fun, and worth it.
Now I have to wait until I either roll another through Daily drops or get one next season. I really wanted that Tunisia Rifle…but I opted for the MK.
