Premium vehicles

Am I right that the game allows you to buy premium vehicles you cannot use?
I have bought Sherman II for Tunisian campain to find that I have no Tankers II staff to use it.
Do I really need to play another high tens hours to be able to use vehicle I bought?

It’s super extra fool thing

There’s a difference between premium vehicles, and gold order vehicles.

What you got is a gold order vehicle. It’s merely the same vehicle as it’s unlocked in campaign tree, with a (sometimes) unique skin, and maxed out stats.

So yes you need to unlock the squad using it first.

Unlike premium vehicles squads who come fully equipped and staffed.

Yes I got it for gold order, but it still possible to buy it, it will be the same if I buy it for Enlisted Gold (another vehicle, PzIV for axis for example) or not?

dude. it literally tells you the exact squad you need to use the gold order. they had to update this even after adding it for the first time because people kept buying vehicles for squads they haven’t unlocked.

if you can’t read, that’s on you. sorry.

Yes, I didn’t see anything what can warn me that I am buying vehicle I have no squad for, no warning no ask ā€˜are you sure’? As is common.

the warning is right there

A lot of that Gold order stuff, is actually worse performance and stats wise than a Normal Tank or Plane, or whatever it is.

What do you mean? It’s the exact same stuff as regular vehicles… with maxed out stars, therefore stats…

How can faster turret traverse, more horsepower etc. be worse?

For planes it might depend on what you wish for, but for tanks, it’s always better to have them max star. Always.

look at the values, i did on several of the ones i was interested in and there in some cases worse than a normal maxed out version

I mean, gold orders are able to be obtained for free, your fault for not literally just READING the pop-up given AFTER YOU SELECTED THE VEHICLE (which is your ā€œare you sureā€ popup)

??? Literally not a thing unless you’re comparing different variants of a vehicle, the exact same vehicle and variant are going to have the same stats when maxed as a gold order vehicle does

for a second i was shocked that one can buy premium jumbo for 60 bucks while being lvl 1 in campaign and is restricted to use it until he unlocks jumbo in campaign :joy:

No, you just get
A. Shamed for wasting your money
B. A downgrade since you’re also given APCR

How can one more ammo type for a tank be a downgrade ?

but yeah its waste

It’s that it lowers the amount of your good round for a round that’s just, bad. Sure you get some more pen but it’s APCR, nobody likes APCR

actually ur wrong and he is right, the game does lie in a way. Some gold vehicles have worse stats on stat card no idea if that is true in match

it’s easier to see it on the planes

This is a super stupid riddle of the developers.

Even players who are familiar with the game cannot know what the numbers of these teams mean.

Although players can view it on the level tree.

But from the perspective of user interaction design, most new users only care about the things they buy and use immediately

The correct design here is to directly tell the player that this vehicle cannot be used, or even prohibit the player from buying it.
