Some may agree with this, others might not, but I think EVERY premium squad that we as players are BUYING should come with changeable weapons. I have requested this before, and am doing it again because it always falls on Dark Force deaf ears. I have spent a shit load of money buying BP weapons and premium squads, only to find out that the squad I wanted has weapons inferior to what I already have, or what I can get from the TT. I have several squads from rifle to assaulter squads I would love to use, but are unusable where I want to use them.
I don’t buy premium squads to collect, I buy so I can taylor my units to the way I want to play, so at times I buy because I want the weapon, but more times then not, I just want the squad.
So Dark Force, again I am requesting that you change your premium squads that WE BUY (both past and present) to having fully changeable weapons loadouts. You have already proven you can do this by your Soviet paratrooper squad, so why not change the rest of the premium squads so everyone who does not play soviets can use the squads THEY PURCHASED in whatever BR level, using whatever weapon they choose? Isn’t it time to let people who are supporting your company by buying your product have a little say in what we are receiving? Just sayin
If they don’t want to let us take the weapons, I have a better idea: A button above each event/premium soldier that allows you to deactivate their weapon, this weapon is not transferred to logistics or… it is just deactivated.
I would be fine with that. I have an old German MP 18 assaulter squad that I hate the MP 18 at level two, but would be fine shit canning the MP 18 as long as I can add any other SMG to the squad.
Agree. It’s so dumb that only soviets have that ability for their paratroopers. Premium xp bonus should be only given to the soldiers and not their weapons.
It’s especially dumb for premium guerrillas that would use whatever weapon they can take in their hands, it’s stupid that all of them are carrying perfect factory made pps-43 or mp40. I would gladly take most random loadouts for them.
STG45 even in BR4 will still be trash and unplayable unless you downtier to BR3 (where it belongs tbh) you always need to use 2nd slot to give yourself something better like Kiraly BR4 or STG44 BR5 or Conders BR5.
I have 10x deactivated Berettas still sitting in my inventory after i refunded the game So as you can see it’s possible they just refuse to do this for us.
If only Germany could change their paratrooper primaries and put their FG42s into a trash. I know they were made exclusively for paratroopers irl but they don’t really work in Enlisted as STG44 would be much stronger due less recoil.
Enlisted is pretty much a fantasy game with all nations having unlimited resources and creating perfect prototypes without a single flaw on any workbench that they could assemble with a hammer with just few swings.
That’s the reason why you rarely see Soviet paratroopers using Fedorov/AVT-40 instead of very accurate and powerful AS-44.
The way I look at it is that if we are actually PAYING for a squad, then we should have control of that squad as to what weapons and what level we want to use it in. If it is an Event squad, then as much as I would like the same options, Dark Force is giving us that squad, so I wouldn’t complain if it’s weapons were locked. However, if DF wants to keep this a popular game for a few more years, it’s time they listen to their players.
Those teams that use existing weapons on the technology tree should indeed be designated as replaceable main weapons, such as the Allied engineering team that uses Johnson rifles.
I also wish i could upgrade magazine size of my premium MG to 100 rounds and then up my BR to 5, 50 rounds is pain in the ass i always have to carry MG42 100 to not get killed during too frequent reloading. I really like their outfits so i’m not playing with normal squad despite them being actually stronger with more daka (100+100 for both MGs)
Tbh even event squads should be able to change their weapons, if Im not mistaken soviet paras has ability to change their weapon, I would like to see same ability for other event squads. imagine german mg39 squad with mg42-100 lol
I guess to be honest, we actually have to pay for the event to be able to win the squad, so I change my mind, all premium and event squads should have changeable weapons.
While crappy Italian paratroopers at BR2 are still using most awful smgs with just 20rounds. Soviet bias as always i’m surprised that they haven’t got free turtle shell armor for additional bias.
So as you can see it’s possible they just refuse to do this for us.
