Premium Squads should come with a Squad slot

Prior to the next major update I propose that all premium squad should automatically come with a squad slot to run them. As of now the standard layout for all campaigns (except Stalingrad) is Non premium gets you 3 Infantry and 1 vehicle squad slots. Premium gets you 4 Infantry and 2 vehicle slots.

You can buy an additional universal squad slot however that’s gonna cost you 490 gold and that nunber continues to increase by 500 in that respective campaign. So if you really enjoy a particular campaign and wanna bring more units into a battle you’ll have to hand over more and more money for each additional unit you want to bring along (I know its Enlisted, monetization schemes are not new here)

My proposal! Premium Squads already cost an arm and a leg on top of premium time. These Squads you’re buying should be able to go into battle without having to sacrifice one of your non premium squads, and without having to spend even more money for additional squad slots.
Honestly this is just seems like a good quality of life improvement and a nice change for those who have financially supported the game.

Furthermore I believe that the increasing cost for squad slots needs to be done away with. I know they’ll always be monetized but at least set them at a solid 500 gold (absolute most! No higher) and keep it there. The idea that they want players to pay 490, then 990, then 1490 for that ability to take 3 additional Squads into battle seems like a massive middle finger and I’m surprised I’ve never actually seen anyone discuss this specifically in the past.

Let me know what you all think and what tweaks you might make to this idea over what I proposed

I personally disagree with this. I like how players are forced to make decisions of what kinds of squads they’re going to bring.

I currently have 4 premium squads and if I ever use them I want it to be because one chose to change their squads. Its almost like a game of chess where you have to choose your pieces strategically

Ironically ages when I first got my first premium squads I literally said to myself “Hopefully they’re not permanently in my lineup”

Totally agreed.

It would make older premium squads usable again. Right now there’s no reason to handicap yourself using a slot to put a 4 guys squad with no engineer. Or a premium riflemen squad. 9 men, just rifles, no specialist. I DO play with those sometimes…

… But I can be considered masochist for doing so.

Not counting the last nerf DF did on premiums, preventing them from using secondaries, because it supposedly was a bug (just a lie), even ON PREMIUMS THAT ORIGINALLY COULD.

I get that, I’m personally of the mind that taking more squads into battle gives mroe opportunities to players to use more styles of play and better react to whatever the enemy is throwing at you. For example example on Berlin my AT squad only comes out once in a blue moon but every now and then I bring them out to deal with a mass of T34s

Hell why not, I would love to use the stuff I payed for whenever, even though I don’t always intend to use it.

Exactly, I’ve got the Pz 38T in Moscow and it’s a very fun vehicle I love it but it’s just not competitive so I don’t take it to battle 90% of the time sinply because I could run into a bunch of T50s and T34s. Having a spare slot would make it possible for it to see action more often

Man, i hate being a Asshole whit Ganjin, but i got NO premiun content at all. don,t know how i get to level 38 axis in battle of moscow, maybe because i played only there for 2 years, just pacienty a playing 1 or 2 battle each day.

has for premiun assets, i guess it,s fine has it is. being a adult mean i know how life is hard around and DEV,s need to fight their battle outside the game has well myself, some P2W features are horrible, still i don,t have fear of that MG13 premiun squad in moscow, even whit only a Mosin rifle in my hand.

i don,t know why, but i kill more people whit bolt action rifles that bolt action sniper rifles. i have level 18 soviet in moscow i started because sometimes, i miss a bolt action rifle.

it,s not uncomon i end in frist place. did i realy above say i love Bolt action rifle? anyway i just talking shiet. nothing constructive to the discusion.

If they can shave the sheep twice they ll dont say no

Unfair to f2p-players.

quite the opposite.
Because this:

Here’s a prime example. So instead of bringing in a WEAK tank for the fun of it when there’s only low lvl enemy, he (and everyone else) will choose NOT to bring those low lvl tanks, and only bring in the bigger ones.

Or me: “mmmh. Should I use my op dt29 squad in this low lvl match, or my fun (but shitty) chauchat squad? OH RIGHT! I can’t take the chauchat because it costs a slot… So I didn’t select it. Let’s wreck low lvl with my op squad, then.”

choosing what sqauds you use has no change in gameplay lol, its all about how much faster your reaction time is to the enemy players.

sucks for you then i guess. i am willing to spend money on cool sqauds.

I spend money on a battle pass and a premium account to upgrade regular units. It’s cheaper and better than buying one squad for the price of a good AAA game.

Slots for premium squads will increase the number of “carousels” in battle. (3+ tank/fly squads)

i spend money on all of it because i empty my pockets

Giving one extra premium squad (only) slot per campaign side might actually be a good compromise.

That way you can at least bring one low-competitive / random premium squad in without affecting the general line up.

For instance a lot of the campaign pack squads (flame tanks, amphibious vehicles, motorcycle squads) are highly situational and burning a standard vehicle slot for those is generally not a great idea.

So basically with the first premium squad / pack you buy, you unlock an extra premium only slot for that campaign side.

No, it does, even in little ways. Every player brings something to the table and what toys they bring to the sandbox.

I try to at least format these things in a more professional manner rather than just a flat wall of text with no paragraphs :joy:
