Does anyone have an idea when they will make discounts for premium squads again like they did in the battle summer event?
I really want to get (all) the soviet premium squads in both campaigns but 60€ is way to much for an infantry squad…

Hard to predict now, there could POSSIBLY be some kind of sale end October - early November (Gaijin’s birthday), but that’s only speculation.
At worst, there could later be Christmas sales, but still speculation.

I would actually buy a squad if they were reasonable however there current prices are just insane. Generally if I like a free to play game i do put abit of money into it say 20 - 30 pounds just to help support it. Also from what ive heard from people that have the premium squads there’s not much point as they seem very limited not worth the money currently.
Hopefully there will be some discounts at some point.

Besides the current over expensive tank and smg squads. I belive I own all the premium squads. I m a huge supporter if I like the game I play. And, I always try to have everything unlocked in games. But in no right mind I m gonna spend 40 euros for a 4man smg, or 60 for 4star soldiers inside a tank that I already own in the campaign.
All of them are expensive, and the prices should reflect what we would get. Limited squads with 100% bosters.
Like… 40 euros for 4 M50 reisings when I can have 4 Thompsons with an engineer a MG gunner and a trooper in a free 2 play squad… No ty.
60 euros for tanks…
If they get us a discount i would suport them and get the lattest tank squads.
Right now, at current prices sadly I ill pass on them.

Till now… It suppose only Moscow/Normandy’s LMG squads pack’s price has been lowered. But that is due to from 5 stars to 4 stars.
I remember someone saying DF is still lack of money for this game now, so no discounts or sales at all.
Also premium accounts price do get some kind of discount-- Now there’s much cheaper longer term plans. Previous 10USD/month is really expensive.
Hope Gaijin and DF can figure out other marketing stuffs to earn more. Not current some over price gold coin squads, or merch that no one going to buy. (Merch takes much more overheads than virtual stuffs. If not market correctly, they will lose money instead)

Also, the Tunis CBT pack’s “bundle” is almost the same as Berlin’s one.
But if sold separately, It’s even more expensive.
Actually, the CBT packs now’s most important feature is allow you progress earlier than others.
The only other need real cash not gold coin squads, and is not related to any CBT access is the Berlin Engineer squads. They are also very expensive…

Current Tunisia can be justified.
You have a vehicle that now actually can be used
3 soldiers where 1 is a rank 2 eng with all options avaiable.
Mp40 and a Thompson that’s late unlock in the campaign
All slots avaiable to use
Can have secondary weapons and can change the primary ones.
The 50 euro for the Tunisia one, is justified by that, along side the 1 week extra early rank option.
Berlin was also a bundle for the first week’s. Because I also had to buy them both. They changed it after a few weeks to be avaiable as a separate option.
I believe the only possible discount you might see is on gold. On premiums per say I doubt it. It will end up the same if the gold used to buy those squads was obtained on discount, though. 🤷
Ehm, no. Since the beginning, Gaijin (which owns Darkflow) has NEVER discounted gold in seasonal sales, but some very rare discounts to promote partnerships with some payment channels (PayPal or such). Aside from that, it’s always been discounts on premium content, but not gold.
(They most likely want to avoid people buying gold at 50% and then wait for sales on premium content, effectively stacking up to a 75% discount.)
