Suggestion to move a couple of premium German SMGs down to BR 1.
MP18: Due to the high horizontal recoil and lack of perk points to take horizontal reduction. This squad also comes with only 4 members with the option to add 2 more specialists.
MP28 (extended magazine): As a founder squad this weapon is very rare to see but it sits in between the regular MP28 and MP34, this weapon should be a no brainer to move down.
Beretta M1918: I see this weapon as similar to the soviet PPT 27. Low magazine size, average recoil control due to the high fire rate and average sights. Although this is also a tech tree weapon, I see no problem with that moving to BR 1 too.

I’ve been calling for this for about a year, still no response from DF. In fact, if DF just changed their premium squads to having user interchangeable weapons, IMOP they can keep the MP 18 at level two because I would shit can it for another smg and use it at whatever level I want.

I would also want to see OG-43 dropped to br 1 or given a 30-40 round mag. It is hardly comparable to other br 2 smgs and the premium ramcke batallion gets beretta m38 with a bayonet and 20 rounds for br 1.

No I disagree, not because I dont agree the BR’s are wierd, but because we have a problem with power creep. BRII is getting more and more intense weapons, so is BRIII.
The only refuge for bolties is BRI, but even they have to suffer against BRII.
So personally, i think strong weapons should get a higher BR, instead of the relatively weaker weapons getting down a BR
(Unless your talking motercycles or something other like that, they could be lowered)

If dropped to level one the MP18 wouldn’t even be the best SMG for the Germans, as I think the Beretta M38 is better, it’s on par with the Sten Mk2 (however I think the Sten is better), and the Soviet PPD34 is far superior. The MP18 is just an inaccurately over buffed gun that realistically should have a ROF of about 500 .
That aside, I actually wouldn’t care what DF did with the MP18 as I really don’t like it and don’t use it, but DF should change the premium squads so I can get rid of the MP18 and give the squad a decent smg and be able to use that squad in any level. Personally, I would either give it an MP34 or M38 Beretta and use it in level one, or keep the Erma EMP 44 it currently has as a back up weapon, change the squad back to the ammo pouch and use it at level three. But I wouldn’t use the MP18 if it was not attached to the squad, and IMOP the MP18 is no better then a level one smg. So if people want to keep the MP18 level two that’s fine with me as long as DF changes the squad so people have the option. I don’t care about the gun, I care about the squad.
