The NKVD were the internal ministry of the Soviet Union, responsible for security, intelligence, and political repression. At the outbreak of the German invasion the NKVD were pushed into military combat. They would be a Riflemen squad. Their unique weapon could be an experimental semi-automatic Mosin created by Fedor Tokarev that eventually led to the creation of the SVT
This squad would have a unique appearance. A specially made blue telogreika, famous winter jacket, was used by some NKVD units to distinguish themselves.
