Premium/ Event Free French Squad

After the fall of France in 1940, Free France was established as the government in exile led by Charles de Gaulle to keep the flame of resistance alive. Free France helped support partisan resistance in France, had special forces units such as commandos and paratroopers, and infantry units fighting alongside the US and Britain in their fight against Germany. The Free France fought in North Africa, Italy, and eventually when France was liberated was one of the many bodies reorganized into France’s official military and continued the fight against Germany to the end of the war.

This would be a Riflemen squad based on Free French infantry.

Their unique weapon would be the MAS 40. The MAS 40 was originally going to be France’s standard issue semi-automatic rifle that was going to modernize the entire armed forces but very few were produced before the war and the rapid onset of war delayed this plan entirely on top of France quickly being conquered
