So, I know most of the player base has wanted faction Integration in Normandy, British, Canadian allies, etc. it seems the Snail, has made that possible with a firefly tank crew, priced at 44 dollars! Anyone else think that’s unreasonable? They should implement at least one British squad for free, or if not, not at 44 dollar price range, as the British fought alongside the U.S in Normandy. Why do we have to pay for this historical accuracy? It completely makes me lose hope that for a game still in beta, Gaijiin, will ever flesh out their game free first before making us pay. Remember we are still in beta? Why are we paying for things that should be free, like faction integration???
Remember this game is still in beta, so devs should not be charging us for assets that should be included in a base game, especially if it is centered around history and World War Two. By all means, hit us with cosmetics, let us support, you, but making us pay for factions, that should be original,y included, during beta? That’s scummy.
campaigns for version 1.0 will be subject to a huge rework, this is just a premium unit that heralds the arrival of other factions in normandy nothing special
I wouldn´t mind more budget premium squads below 1000 gaijin bucks. Just give them some Sten variant or prototype rifle like that Canadian semi-auto SMLE and we´re good.
I’m afraid gaijiin, is getting too comfortable with these high prices. By all means add things for whales, but to pay wall faction integration, unless they plan to add British or any other faction integration for free.
Obviously my proposition would be the best case scenario if they do plan to monetize it but ideally they would make the Lee Enfield, Bren, PIAT and Sten squads Commonwealth themed.
I hope there will be some big changes. I am overall dissatisfied with the progression systems, the reuse of weapon assets in campaigns they don’t belong, the lack of reason behind the squads and their associated weapon, premium squads that just need to be more interesting as they are too restrictive.
Agreed, also this is just an opinion, but premium squads should at least contain five members. Anyways, but I agree, especially in Tunisia and Normandy, premium squads besides cosmetics add no real incentive. I bought my premium squads solely for their looks, I may be in the minority, but if that’s the majority reasons, then they are better off allowing us to pay for cosmetic uniforms we can implement to our squads. Hats, badges, etc.
I have no problem with them adding premium packs. I was only stating this shouldn’t replace actual free, fleshed out faction integration. I don’t think you understood at all what I wrote.
Oh yea, not sure the source of that statement. As of this moment the current action seems just the implementation of premium squads as bandaids to the campaigns. Bandaids you have to pay for.
more than a hope, in the last QeA when they confirmed Japan they hinted that they want to expand the campaign, now I don’t know how but it will certainly be different from the current one, the most popular theory is that every campaign becomes a theater of war, which will include : (for example moscow) the whole eastern front
Normandy is already at lvl 33 so only 7 lvl will be added. Also their was no reason to add UK weapons on US squads in the first place or not make Normandy a mixed between US and UK squads from the start. I dont see anything changing in this aspect. Also they said that they wont wipe OBT progress in the future which indicate no major changes on the campaigns progress
