In World War II, there were dozens of women soldiers who fought as tank soldiers. Because being a tank soldier was a very strenuous job, they were not well respected by their male colleagues, but they did heroic work and earned many medals.
For example, Maria Oktyabrskaya, upon receiving the news of her soldier husband’s death, sold all of her property and donated it to the construction of the T34. She volunteered to fight as a tanker and was actually hired as a T34 driver, and her tanks killed and wounded over 70 German soldiers.
Alexandra Samusenko not only served as a tank commander, but was also the deputy commander of the first Soviet tank battalion. She was only 19 years old when the war broke out, and over the next few years she became a veteran commander with many battles under her belt.
During the Battle of Kursk, she faced off against German Tiger tanks and calmly kept her panicked troops at bay. She was a very good commander.
Today I read an article on the Internet and found out that the Soviet Union has excellent female tank commanders. Did you know about them? If you don’t know them and are interested, please do a Google search.

Beautiful women with unique paint on T34s with their unique paint. It would be great to drive a T34 while thinking about the heroic work of women that happened in real life.
I would also like to add a tank unit to my collection as I have a Soviet female medic and a “night witch”.
