I usually play with my cousin, and sometimes my brother joins us too. Whenever we form a group of three, we tend to lose. I wonder why that happens. We all play really well and focus on the objectives, but the opponents always seem too strong in every match.
On the other hand, when we play as a duo—whether it’s my cousin and me, my brother and me, or my brother and cousin—we win about 95% of the time. Is this due to the algorithm or something else? It’s really frustrating that we lose almost every time we play as a group of three.
I will just list things possibly responsible for this variety in winrates.
Faction (Every faction currently has a different winrate due to playerbase density, meaning there are stronger and weaker factions atm, switching inbetween them may be the reason)
Time of the day (Encountering stronger opponents/better teammates is tied to popular play times of the day. Playing in the morning will differ significantly than playing in the evening when most of the playerbase is active.)
BR brackets (These are also affected by playerbase density. If you switch between low and high BR, there is bound to be a difference, especially for the less popular factions atm.)
Matchmaking regulation (While I am not sure, if there even is such a thing, it might be one of you is significantly apart from the others in terms of stats/winrate, resulting in matches against stronger opponent.)
I know what you mean, but I think the matchmaking itself could be better. By the way, I have BR II, while my brother and cousin have BR III (I play better than both of them). However, there are many players who just stand around every time. I don’t know if those are bots, but it’s really getting on my nerves when we try hard to capture an objective or detonate bombs and others are just standing around.
