Just like the title, does anyone know any custom game mode that allow you to practicing shooting down ai controlled planes? DF really need to add this in the pratice mode.
you can practice in war thunder. Transferable skill
The default aircraft settings in WT are hideous and no one wants to spend a several minutes changing them.
I dare say anyone who cant be bothered to remap some keys, isnt really interested in getting better
heās got a point tho. Iāve never touched WT myself, and never consider doing so in the future.
But if DF should waste resources on this is dubious however.
Edit:
Oh, he asked for a custom mod.
It should be doable.
really though? The only controls you use for flying in enlisted is Mouse, C to lookaround, wasd and flapsā¦pretty sure thats default in warthunder too
difference is you have a million other keybinds you ācanā use if you want.
ahh whatever, doesnt matter lol
The only key to success is practicing, really.
In the beginning I found it awkward to fly.
Now itās like moving and shooting a soldier on ground.
One need to spend time to improve (like with everything)
I suggested this when I ask in a post I made to remake engie official video o make an AA or SPAA video
Enter practice mode with airplane.
It is not quite as good as fighting against AI planes, but at least it is something to get used to the controls.
Can planes be flown with a HOTAS (namely the X52 Pro)?
like i said before maybe they could experiment with flying ai or they could just add enemy bomber formation flying somewhere in practice for practice i guess
i dont see a reason why not. you are just basically translating wasd and throttle control to controller.
i use a flightstick together with mouse - instructor is still on, so it limits the turn so plane doesnāt stall.
flying in āsimulator modeā with no instructor is bad in enlisted, because there is no feedback to when you are on the edge of the stall. also, many planes have completely wacky flight model when instructor is off.
Iām good with the control already, I just want to pratice aimming against air target, which there are no way to do it beside joining a match and hope the other team wonāt go on a suicide run with their planes
