I see it first time in my live. Didnt know that thereare PPSHs with bayonets. Just asking from what squad is it or is it a bug

This is actually a PPD-40 variant with an experimental bayonet where you can get from a Berlin premium squad.
do the metal plates work as bulletproof shields?
do they minimize dmg at least?

I could buy this 10% advantage for every soldier unlike f2p players. It’s simply not fair and very unreasonable.
It should be just skin without any impact on actual gameplay.
You’re not wrong, but luckily in practical terms that armor is still worthless in game.
Perks do a much better job at boosting soldiers’ survivability (+35% Vitality + greater chance to be downed by otherwise deadly shot).

Yep, you are right. But I still think it’s not good thing with current heavily monetized concept of customization.
PERHAPS normal helmets do have the armour bonus too, but I am NOT sure about that.
She didn’t specify which helmets do and which do not.
I guess caps/ushankas and things like this wouldn’t have any protection, but… This game can be sometimes really random.
