Ppsh (s)

Why is it that there can be an extremely OP STG 44 (S) and you guys decided not to bring out the PPSH (S) i would pay big time to have that gun. Oh yeah i forgot playing favorites again

Silenced Stg44 did exist
Silenced ppsh41 is a fake gun, certainly didn’t exist during WW2.

Lets not go there with realism because this game is far from that i mean if thats the case then them MG 42’s need to be packing some barrels to swap out

Considering this weapon was supposed to be added to TT (i.e. free for all), I really hope it will be released as a event guerrilla squad. Not a premium squad.

Oh absolutely. And back to the STG44 thing im pretty sure that was never actually a thing as well sooo.

Well, it certainly is. If the STG 44 was a laser gun in real life, like in a game, why were the AK, G3, and M16 made? But now both the US and the Soviet Union have their own laser weapons. So I don’t think there’s a balance issue here right now.

Its authenticity is very questionable, it probably never existed but we have it
"In the late 1980s, during work on the creation of a promising assault rifle as part of the Abakan R&D project, I.Y. Stechkin presented his TKB-0146. In a private conversation, I asked him to tell me about his work twenty years ago — the Buket R&D project to create 9 mm submachine guns for special purposes equipped with silencer attachments. During this conversation, Igor Yakovlevich casually mentioned the silent PPSh created in the early years of the Great Patriotic War. Repeated attempts to find at least some traces of the special-purpose PPSh in the archives were unsuccessful. However, a silent PPD unexpectedly “surfaced,” and it even had a “history.” As for the special-purpose PPSh, either we really need to “dig deeper,” or the human memory’s tendency to forget and confuse things over time has come into play.

In my opinion it should be an event guerrilla squad or never appear in the game again

Overheat mechanic would be a huge buff to MG34 and 42 because their barrels can swapped very quickly while guns like DP-27, BAR1918, Bren… Well I hope you have the necessary tools ready.

The L26 silencer can be attached to any standard issue German WW2 rifle, including K98K, G43 and StG44

True but half of the stuff in this game didn’t either and were just brought in for balance…but then again the Soviets are the only ones with body armour so they don’t need a silenced advatage too…even though it was already a gold order weapon.

Forget the gun…what happened to the Manchurian campaign that was supposed to be in the update? Only to buff the US for playing Japan now.

I don’t think it’s really a balance issue, nothing in BR5 is going to be as good as the SF weapons and rifle man squads. It’s just a matter of variety and appeal. And I mean, we literally made that weapon, why not add it? I hope it gets added as an event squad.

Lol, BAR did not need barrel changes at all. It’s a battle rifle with 20 rd mags. Not a belt fed machine gun. I would assume the dp-27 follows a similar rule as it’s never under enough strain to require a barrel change like the german MG line.

Changing the Bren guns barrel is actually also very quick and easy!

Major hinted it’s going to be released in some way eventually.

But obviously, it’s not for sure.

Premium with just 5 crewman. And that silencer did exist it could be used on kar98k and gewehr too.

TT weapon that you could use in every single squad and even two paratrooper 6x man squads. It’s not rare and too common to be just added to a TT.

Where is PPSh silenced?

I don’t understand this whole circus at all.

Yes, we have half of the guns here - irl it was between the designer’s thoughts and a crude unfinished prototype. And now you’ve got hold of what? Of course, for the Soviet gun.

For some reason, the arguments are such that you’ll die laughing.

The first argument is that others don’t have this technology. Then tell me why Germany has an assault rifle with a scope?

The second - it did not existed - well Chumak - most respectfull researcher - tells its photo does

What else do you need?

I tell you - Where is PPSH SILENCED??? GIVE 3, MAYBE 4. It will be enough

Not in the form in which it is presented in the game. To give the cartridge a subsonic speed, the powder charge was reduced, due to which the shot power was no longer sufficient for the operation of the automatics. And there was no time and resources for the development and implementation of a new special cartridge. That is, in fact, this is a bolt-action rifle. The US had similar silent carbines M1.
