Post game cinematics

At the moment when a game ends if you win your greeted with a blinding light and some yellow text informing you of your victory and if you loose you see you screen has red text telling you that you lost. This is effective at telling you but could benefit with a bit of polish.

Current victory screen:

Current defeat screen:

I suggest a fade to black and a small cinematic of the wining army celebrating or the loosing army surrendering / retreating.

these battles last 10-40 minutes so nothing major enough for a cutscene.
Red Orchestra 2 had campaigns that lasted hours, those had cutscene at the end and it made sense too.

I don’t mean a long cutscene just a 10 second ish animation or cinematic.

This applies to…

Too many aspects of the game to reasonably list spontaneously.

I don’t think a post-battle cinematic is worth the time making right now given the state of the game.

The inherent jankiness of soldier movement would make in-match cutscenes look awkward.
Making cutscenes for each battlefield/map would require a bespoke approach tailored to everything.

Thank you for your post.

I dont think this is necessary. But PLEASE DarkFlow remove the blinding light.

A fade to black and appearance of results would be better.

It would take way too much development time since they would need to make short cutscene for every map in the game. Its just not worth it

so it would be like COD WW2 victory/defeat thing, tbh i always like those ngl

but i get that it might take a lot of work as well

A simple transition of the camera panning away from the battlefield into the clouds would do well too.

All for it, this game FINALLY needs more quality of live content, there still are way too many rough edges after 5 years and it’s starting to look ridiculous really.
