It got a history section which does seam like they based it on something that did was tested irl.
But as they have given no source I was still very sceptic about the post.
Just because souces arent know to you does not 100% mean they cant exist.
So if they seam to have had some mysirious source for their entry maybe one could find something aswell if one dug enough.
Because it isnt defunct like described in the text.
Beeing fictious does not always mean 100% made up but could also mean that they took some liberties with how they implemented it ingame compared to how it was IRL.
