- Operation Market Garden/Battle of Arnhem
This operation consisted of an Allied invasion of the Netherlands, which had the objective of capturing a series of bridges over major rivers under German occupation. Although some of the bridges were taken with relative ease, the last one located in the city of Arnhem was where the German army carried out a counteroffensive that almost completely destroyed an entire division of British paratroopers.
This operation was a total failure for the Allied armies and was one of the last victories of the Axis on the Western Front.
It would be interesting to see this operation represented in Enlisted, especially since there are no campaigns in the game where the Axis has been victorious, except for Rzhev.
- Battle of Iwo Jima
This battle was one of the bloodiest of World War II and the most important for the USA. The objective was to capture this small island in order to use it as a base and direct air attacks on Japan from Iwo Jima. However, the American army encountered fierce Japanese resistance and made the capture of the island very difficult.

I know that many of you are already a bit fed up with the Pacific maps/islands in Enlisted, but I think that Iwo Jima is a historical setting that should be recreated in the game. In addition, we would finally have a Pacific landing map.
- Battle of Crimea
It was a series of Soviet offensives on the Crimean peninsula with the aim of expelling German troops and their Romanian allies from the peninsula. This battle took place between April 8th and May 12th 1944. With this campaign in the game, Stalingrad could finally be relegated to Low BR, while Crimea would be in High BR along with Berlin and Rzhev.

- Invasion of Sicily/Operation Husky
This operation was a large air and amphibious invasion that would land on Gela beach, followed by a land campaign of about 6 weeks, the objective of this invasion was to eliminate the axis air and sea potential on the island, give the allies access to the Mediterranean and open a route to mainland Italy to advance through the peninsula and push back Germany.

I would really like to see Italian maps in Enlisted, and nothing better than the invasion of Sicily⦠it would be a good addition if one day they decide to give Italy more prominence.

Well, Battle of Monte Cassino is on the same level for me.
But I agree, I would love to have some Sicily maps as well. And night themed.
Plus thisā¦
ā¦is must have for me.
And then Manchuria or any other Japs vs Sovs campaign. I really donāt care which one specifically.

Hnmmm intresting,
I really like some of these sugestions,
I think there is one major problem with especially the first suggestion;
-
Operation market garden - this is a horrible idea I am sorry to say. I am from the Netherlands and have often visited these former battlefields and well ⦠the Netherlands is flat as fuck and boring. Do you guys like the Berlin maps outside of Berlin? Well your going to get the same again because that is how the Netherlands looks. I would love to see my home country but I have to be real, the Netherlands would be boring (unless you maybe put the battlefield in Zeeland near the coast as a sort of salt swamp but that is not really the main part of the operation). There is also another problem, but I will get to that with the Sicily one.
-
Battle of Crimea - would be nice I guess. Would be a bit of a warmer climate then we are use to for the eastern front.
@WalterSpeering also said battle of Charkow, I think that might be a little bit to much like Rhzev or Moscow. Maybe Leningrad would be cool in the far north or something? Than we could get a real snow city map but idk, anything would work as long as they make it different from the maps already present.
-
Battle of Iwo Jima - I dont think japanese needs more island maps. I think a China map or Manchuria map would be better since it gives more variaty to the Japanese. Or maybe Manila or something, but Iwo Jima is already sort of covered by the generic island maps.
-
Sicily - I am a bit torn on this idea. My fear is that this battlefield will look similar to the Normandy France battlefields with a similar architecture. But if the devs are not lasy, then I think it will be great.
However, one major problem is that it is again, Allies VS Germans. This is a problem because these two factions have way more maps that Japanese and Soviets. They have also gotten recent map updates. To be honest, next map update should be for either Soviet VS Germans or Soviet VS Japanese. So in the far future Sicily would be a great campain to add, but at least for the first half of 2025, it should not be created.
Alright, I have gone full autism. But just to be clear, any of these suggestions would be nice, some would just be better than others.

Iād like the paratroopers to be introduced to the tech trees. Devs could combine it with new maps, events and premiums.
US/UK: Market Garden, 1st Polish Independent Parachute Brigade could be a event/premium, since Poland has no single unit yet.
Germany: Battle of Crete, some Greek unit as event/ premium.
Soviets: Vyazma Airborne Operation, Rzhev map could be expanded here since itās the same frontline.
Japan: Battle of Palembang, some dutch unit as event/ premium. It could be also first industrial themed map in the pacific! (Shell refinery)

It is just a single map (with maybe two different variations, one Charkow urban and one Charkow outskirts). It would still fit in the Stalingrad era.
I guess you have a point regarding Sicily and the Netherlands, however, Iām sure the developers would do something to make these maps feel unique, in the case of Sicily they could include a completely night-time climate, Arnhem would be more of the same, pure urban combat, however I would still like to see this map listed and I reiterate that DF would make these campaigns unique. With Sicily and Arnhem, new paratroopers could arrive (with a lot of luck for the tree) such as the 1st Polish Parachute Brigade for example.
I feel that these would be great campaigns, if at some point, Darkflow decides to give more importance to factions like Italy and the United Kingdom.
I have to differ a bit with Iwo Jima, I agree that it would be a somewhat generic map, but in Enlisted we still donāt have an amphibious assault map for the Pacific, the closest thing to it is the Tenaru River area, in Guadalcanal, as long as it is somewhat generic I have no problem, in the game, unfortunately, there are already many like that, Rzhev by itself seems to me a very generic map, or the Hurtgen forest.
And finally, with Crimea, I chose that campaign mostly because it is a late battle on the Eastern Front, it would be perfect to replace Stalingrad in BR 4/5 and that it only stays in low BR (Stalingrad is a map that fascinates me, but playing it in High BR is too horrible for me)

well, we dont have Berlin equivalent for Allies so maybe itās interesting

if this to happen everyone should get a premium paratrooper with changeable weapon and a new paratrooper event with changeable event so everyone is on par with soviets
I meant the boring Berlin maps that are not in Berlin itself. The old train mode maps.
I would like to see a Greek/Cretan battle.
Looking at the beautiful map of Burma, perhaps Greece could fight in a beautiful landscape. They could even sell a premium team of Greek troops.
With the addition of Chinese, a second Sino-Japanese war campaign could be added in the future.
Personally, I would love to play the Chiba-Tokyo battle in Operation Downfall, although it would be fictitious, but there would be great opposition.

Thank you for your post.
I like all these ideas.
I would add that regarding the Pacific Id like to see proper island hopping.
Eg. objectives are on different islands. The attackers must use either Higgins boats and LSTs or Daihatsu barges to conduct an amphibious landing.
The defenders would have the option of using PT boats or armed speedboats respectively for the Allies/Japan. This would be a naval squad that would automatically replace 1 of your āvehicleā squads if a āisland hoppingā map was queued.

5 tank limit/team for kursk instead of 2 would be nice
Ive never understood the obsession with Kursk. Makes sense in War Thunder but why Enlisted??
Itās just a big flat plain with hundreds of tanks. Now yes, infantry were present, but as an enlisted map that would just be tanks MG spamming and HE spamming infantry (free kills, not fun) and then infantry attacking tanks with AT launchers and explosive packs.
Itās just not appropriate for this kind of game. It would also be super annoying, especially if you dont have effective anti tank weapons or you run out. Then youd just be running around with no purpose other than giving tankers free kills.
Like I said it just makes so much more sense putting Kursk in War Thunder than Enlisted.
It would be like having the Battle of Britain in Enlisted where the majority of players are just sort of running around on the ground with no particular purpose while the few that have aircraft battle it out. (funnily enough I rarely see dogfights in Enlisted)
Leningrad would be better suited for USSR maps. Any BR can be used there. And the Tigers near Leningrad will not be a problem, since the first Tiger that the Soviet troops captured was just near Leningrad. This is also a reason to finally add Finland. And also a new mechanic, a call for super heavy artillery. The Soviet army will be able to request support from the 305mm guns of the battleship āMaratā. And the Germans will have 24 cm Kanone 3 or 280mm caliber railway guns or any other heavy artillery. Finland also had captured T-I-180 and T-III-12 railway guns of 180mm and 305mm caliber, respectively.
