Destroying enemy rally points or ammo boxes is one way to seriously mess with the enemy team, yet it doesn’t seem to be rewarded. I feel like that needs a change to make people do these things more often and possibly increase a teams chance to win.
I feel as if an ammo box should give as much as 1-2 player kills, a rally point as much as 5-10 player kills, and maybe a few points for getting rid of barbed wire as well.
I love this idea.
An alternate way to implement this might be to REWARD build points back to the engineer that disables them, but otherwise, sir, I like the cut of your jib!
Yeah why not. Wouldnt hurt anything I can think of. other than… Maybe some people would start farming bunkers, barbed wires etc. So maybe if you left it at rally points it would be fine?
I was thinking the wire wouldn’t give much. Maybe 1/4 of a kill or something to not really make it worth farming, but just give a small reward for clearing it out. But yeah, rally points and ammo boxes are the most important.
You should ONLY get points for destroying rally points, anything else would be broken. Artillery already makes all defensive structures disintegrate like they’re paper mache.
How would ammo boxes be broken? Barely anny get built anyway, and even then it’s 3 per engi squad. And wire is usually built in enclosed spaces. Though stuff like walls obvoiusly shouldn’t be rewarded.
Or to counter that issue you could jus make arty not count on those structures.
It should be very east to differentiate what is player built and what is place on the map in terms of rewarding the player.
@30787949 I’m good with this. And while they are at it they need to allow for assists to be marked for tanks.
Nothing is more frustrating than going to all the work of killing 4 / 5 crew and having the last person bail out and some stray MG bullet give the tank kill to that person instead of the one who did most of the work.
