Whenever something open to exploit in games players dont not hesitate. We currently witness it with grenade and vehicle spams. If all out bayonet charge option is given pacific will turn into medieval battlefield. Nearly all japanese weapons even the smg s have bayonets. Imagine you are facing 9 soldier squad high level and all have katanas marchin to you . Without well placed mg or tank support they would completely overrun us positions with ease.
When they find out this is a good tactic it will be widespread. Like half of the battle hardened veteran jap team stormin to close low level us positions. We are already seeing huge balance issue.
I don’t see the problem.
Japanese forces ALREADY get mowed down by the dual 50 cal halftrack. Them banzai charging would merely make that vehicle gunner’ job easier…
Banzai charges don’t give a huge bonus by far. It boost speed… a tiny lil bit. Nothing like the impressive mechanic from Rising Storm.
Banzai charges are fun. It mostly boosts immersion 
nothing more.

Banzai charges does not makes soldiers invincible, far from it. In fact it merely turns them into more obvious targets, especially with them screaming…

Yes, in favor of the Allies. Massively.
Which is all-squad Banzai charges would somewhat help. I’m even in favor of removing bayonets from Allies in the Pacific.
