Someone with grenade launcher or mortar can quickly drain all ammo boxes on the map. Please make for them 2 separate “point bars” for small arms and heavier weapons.
For visuals - you can add to model one box of mortar rounds. When it’s empty you can’t replace heavy weapons ammo. When cardboard boxes are empty you can’t replace small arms ammo.

I was thinking something similar too.
Also, the boxes of ammo have different ammo types written right on them haha.

As long as this is a refinement of current ammo boxes WITHOUT adding extra work for engineers (they SHOULDN’T have to build two separate kinds of ammo boxes), I support this suggestion.

He’s suggesting that the ammo pool from an ammo box gets split between different ammo types.
