the 20mm is br 1, and the tube is br 2 with 100mm of penetration with the same velocity as the m1 bazooka

Most likely because people bring the type 5 launcher and no longer the type 97 AT rifle as the rifle no longer can pen everything it can see.
With the type 5 it is harder to sniper from afar and the scot can shine again.
Well not complaining it CANT be killed just now I’m seeing everyone with M5s and M8s now and the already weak jap tanks can’t kill them
Im sure they will adapt.
I take HEAT launchers in one squad and AT rifle specialists in another.
I think people dont value AT rifles enough
I know for a fact that I have gotten the ranging of the type 5 tube close mostly from using the bazooka a lot
