Please nerf russian smg for make them balanced

I agree and disagree on this matter, on one hand I don’t think they SMG’s should be nerfed to the point they are unrealistic, but at the same time someone who plays on berlin a lot it’s just simply not fun, more so on squad battles as the russian team just zerg rushes spamming squads of smg/lmg armed troopers and bulldozes over the (usually heavily rifle armed) german team and win the match within 5 minutes.

This man could be the next president of Russia
(if surviving more than 2 days)

I dont want to see them changed, but its literally a .2 damage difference. Nothing to write home about. With the rate of fire differences its hardly noticeable. Which im still ok with. I just dont want to see Soviet mains being like, nErF mG 34/42. Knowing full well that they already have the upper hand with close quarters.

Id have to look but i have seen multiple people complaining about MG34/42 combo. As well as the FG42 which isnt even that great IMHO.

MGs just need some ADS recoil.

I unlocked the 34 in Berlin now and the thing is just a laser that instakills whoever it touches.

Hipfiring on it is deadly enough, it doesn’t need to be an SMG

this applies to all LMGs. Madsen is probably the only one with appropriate recoil.

Increase recoil across the board, BARs, MG34s etc.

Are you using the reduce recoil perk? Because it seems whenever im using it, unless mounted, anything over a 3-4 round burst is not very easy to control. I think a good alternative is to go the hell let loose route. Only have the ability to ADS whilst mounted.

That’s a good eventual goal as well but one a long way off for after bipods become good enough.

Of course if you dump the entire drum at once you’ll get recoil, but for realistic shooting, the MG 34 has none.

DP-27 is very stable, in real life. So was PPSh, and PPD’s. Suommi SMG is like ultimate no recoil, even standing(all Soviets WW2 SMGs were derivatives of that). On the other hand German MGs were stationary MGs, mostly. And weren’t designed for handheld operations.

So taking historical stats just not gonna work, in video games.

Very stable for a machine gun irl doesn’t mean stable unsupported.

How to balance SMG’s: hold 1 in each hand

Making this a perk for Soviet assaulters will achieve balance :slight_smile:

Just rewatched Forgotten Weapons Suomi shooting, what a marvel. The rate of fire is insane, but it’s sooo balanced, it’s almost stationary. That’s some engineering, and good old human smarts.

please nerf the damage of german mg because they shoot a lot faster whereas they do the same damage as than soviet mg if they do less damage they will be balance because currently they are just OP.
