I don’t care how you do it, just nerf them. I had a game of D-day where the defenders couldnt even get to the last point due to mortars. dude had 108 kills and 4 deaths

They were already nerfed a lot
They used to be used with the minimap on alpha
They are OK right now imo (and no, I dont use them a lot)

sounds like me every game in D-Day lmao
so how are you suppose to counter mortar teams when theyr out of bounds? had invasion map where we had to defend, all went semi ok, until 2 guys either joined or switched to mortars. you get to the point, u get mortar on you, rinse and repeat … so enemy just caped one after another without any real defense.
add artilery drops … was fun match with no real way to win

Not going to lie when someone uses a tank to block or if they spam defenses like wire get ready to feel the wrath of the mortars! Believe me the Americans don’t find it fun when the only entrances get completely plugged and you get mowed down by MGs while your explosive pack does nothing to the defenses. That or your plane bombs troops in the first second they spawn at the start. After that gloves are off.

Mortars take a bit of skill to use right now, you have to adjust them based on range, and they are not very accurate, quite a bit of drift. I don’t think they should be nerfed at all, they are a viable tool in world war II. adapt and overcome.
Remove the engineer slots. Thats more than enough.
