Please make Pacific war campaign fun for allies

Fighting as allied army in Pacific war campaign is not fun at all. Unlocking new levels is painfully slow even with premium account and boosters. Winning a game is quite impossible in the first 13 levels because of the huge difference in equipment for opposing armies. For example, SMG unlocked on level 2 on axis side is far superior to allied one in terms of sights, controllability and magazine size. Difference in hit power is negligible when you defeat an enemy with both guns in 3 hits. On level 10, axis unlocks full power semi automatic rifle with low recoil, when allies unlocks harder kicking, less accurate and weaker M1 carbine. My point is that less and less players want to play as Allies, so the system is matching lower level allies with higher level axis in battles. At this time, the Pacific war campaign is unplayable for allied army.

I was not playing at the time, but shortly after the Pacific was implemented, most people played the Allies and the Allies were winning a lot of battles.
Nowadays, the win rate of the Allies is low because people who prefer to play with the Japanese are staying and playing all the time, and there are a lot of beginners and bots.
Even in Normandy, the Allies were at a disadvantage for a long time, but lately it is often balanced.
I think there will come a time when the balance of power will change in the Pacific as well.
If you want to play with US forces I would recommend Normandy for now.
I play as the US Army in most of my games, so if you get the chance, we can fight together.

BTW, I think that the Allies have the better weapons performance in pacific.

This campaign is like Moscow for the axis, you suffer a lot in the first levels, but later the technological superiority does its thing and it is quite noticeable when you are at an intermediate level. But it must be said, all SMGs are horrible for allies, the only one Acceptable is the Thompson with the highest caliber that was added exclusively for an event. But luckily all the MGs are more than acceptable and definitely better than anything the Japanese currently have. Regarding the vehicles I think both factions have mediocre and boring tanks. Use especially if you unlock the Stuart twice in a row for no reason…

Unfortunataly for your statement, I am not new to the game. I started playing as the game launched. I came back to game after 4 to 5 months break and was excited for the new campaign, but after two weeks of trying to make it work, I am still dissapointed when my win/loss ratio is 1/13 after trying all of my verified tactics.

What are your verified tactics?

Totally depends on what server you play on and when. NA morning’s is usually Japanese win time, afternoon, the Allies win most of the time.

And as noted above the Allies used to stomp the Japanese all the time.

M13 is uber really trashes Japanese tanks fast, and is more or less insta death on Japanese planes

Today NA server:

Lvl 1 allies “tank” shreds everything and have strange hit box. To grind easily, just spam m13.

Tactics, that I discovered while playing in diffirent campaigns. I am not saying they are best suited for Pacific war, but in other campaigns are sure win.

I am playing mostly around 19-21 CET on Frankfurt servers

lmao pacific allies is easymode, literally everything they have is better than its japanese equivalent except maybe the zero

Bro

Allies are way better than Axis in the pacific.

Like it’s not even close. Who cares about the first 10 levels

those keep in mind that the those ammo counts do effect the guns with the johnson rifle having a 4ish second reload and the m1 carbine being locked at 320 with 7.2 base damage (a soldier has 10 hp to be downed)

while the 5 round otsu has the best rpm for pure semi autos and one of the fastest reloads in the game (only really Pistols can out reload it while you have to upgrade the BARa2 to get a faster reload)

TL;DR: both sides has good gear at certain levels and horrible gear at others and it’s honestly a skill issue if you say one side suffers

I find this to be very true, for me after 12pm at night is good for allies, and during my afternoons are good for Axis.

Also do agree that allies don’t get as many wins, but as you can see in ss, i have only a hour difference, on both sides, +7 games more, than other, but both the same lvl research on lvl 14 flame thrower squad, ie allies 110k, axis 115k.

one game later

so even though allies loose more, still getting the same amount of xp, etc

yes i play engie, so leave my k/d ratio out of it :P, i see there’s no stats for how many rally’s, or people i heal

PS: so just won with allies, i don’t know how fellow above me, gets the tactician award, when he never picked up a spanner, but that’s the game for you

Sure, but get this

The M1 Garand is better than M1941 Johnson. It reloads 50% faster at 2.9 seconds vs 4.3 and the sights/viewmodel is 200x better, at the cost of 2 bullets per mag (8 v 10). Easy win for Garand.

The M1 Garand is better than every Japanese semi, the only one that even comes close is the event one that you get only 1 of, it has the extended 10 mag rather than 5.

Nobody cares about M1 Carbine. It’s dead in every campaign, luckily there is always either M1 Garand or M2C as alternatives.

Who cares about the .6 second reload advantage on Otsu when you have 3 less bullets, less mv, less damage, less falloff . It’s also funny u talk about 10hp down… since Otsu does 9.9 damage at ~120m and M1 Garand does 12.1 or so + the bullets travel at 830m/s not 660m/s, way ez mode.

Japan is 1000x worse.

The tanks for Japan can’t even kill m13 because dmg model of shells is so bad. They don’t even have MGs mostly and ones that do are terrible reload / 2nd crew slot. The event tank right now is all they got , a possible level 1 Stuart competitor. Their LMGs are goofy goober, and SMGS are whacked out bad.

what’s funny is that the garand gets less total ammo at 96 rounds max (the japs have 100 rounds) though base ammo is higher than hei and otsu at 48 instead of 45. oh that .6 reload allows you to get back into a fight without having worrying too much about getting caught off guard

i have more important things questions about this like why the fuck are you shooting from your spawn and into the point? now get your ass out of the grayzone and get into the damn magic circle

oh btw the japs can shoot down the seagull with 8mm nambu, the type 5 tube is extremely effective for an AT launcher

but hey if you want to do this then you don't mind posting your stats for the pacific?

We have the exact OPPOSITE experience. Most of the axis equipment early on is actually terrible. The SMG is perhaps the only exception. Allies obliterate 9/10 games, often times fighting nothing but AI or very low level axis players.

Actually, not many people play Pacific overall unless we need to farm out some easy silver orders. In which case Allies are used. There are extremely few Pacific players, those that there are usually are low level. If you are coming up against high levels, that means they are the only other ones playing Pacific right now.

yeah, this about sums it up. honestly it’s mostly the m13. it’s extremely frustrating to play against

what you wrote is so illogical tho

The Otsu reloads 20% faster yet Garand has 60% more ammo capacity. Imagine taking that trade

Nobody in this game plays the seagull who cares, legit who cares, your kpm goes down to 10% of a bolt action by spawning that fodder vehicle
