Currently the player inactivity time is very less (probably less than 2 minutes ) , whether you go for natural call, or your mom asks you to bring something or dad is upto something or even if brother/sister need anything, upon returning back to game this screen is waiting for you
this would make afk players even more annoying, ability to reconnect sounds more applying
Yeah you should at least be able to go for an quick bio break or grab an quick coffee without having the risk of stumbling to the stairs and break your neck to make it in time 
I am only asking to make it at least 5 minutes because currently its very less, If you play Enlisted in home ( staying with family or friends ) , there is possibility you have to get up sometimes to do some work.
You can use anti afk third party software, I will not mention the name here but its pretty useful and won’t get you banned as it imitates pressing a key on keybord.

I got AFK kicked once when i was hiding behind some crates inside an cap filled with enemies. Was giggling for myself while they where annoyingly searching for me then i got kicked for being “afk” xD They where lucky that time
It’s true that the current afk timer is very unforgiving but I dont think that allowing players to be afk for 5 minutes will do any good. It’s better to have a bot doing something instead of a guy who went to make his coffee and will be back in 5 minutes. Ability to reconnect and making afk timer a bit longer (not 5 min) I think is a better solution.
You can afk all the time you want in the spawn screen with a grey infantry squad selected
You don’t even get the option to reconnect after getting up to pee
this reminds me of when I was little and on the street I had to go to the bathroom and mom said “you had to go first now you can keep it up to home” enlisted anti-AFK system is like this
I don’t want more afk people, sometimes hard enough to win as axis anyway. I don’t agree extending timer, but I do understand life and nature calls.
Bro few minutes of afk player is better than a full army of bots replacing the real player just because he/she went to attend nature call.
The guy will come back with energy of coffee and will be lot better than a bot replacing him.
Sometimes you even have XP booster active which is lost, and it really feels not good.
That is why I think there should be an option to reconnect if you got thrown out for being afk… It is better to have a bot doing something while your teammate is away then have him taking a spot but doing nothing.
Dont misunderstand me I would prefer a real player to a bot anytime, but if I have to choose between an afk guy who maaaaybe will be back in time or not (if we are talking about 5 min) or a bot - I’m going for the bot option with the guy having an opportunity to recconect after
Current AFK timer I believe is ~1min. Extreme short.
(Though I know someways to avoid it. But in some real emergency event, you dont have enough time to use those methods. Such as a phone call.)
Actually, those players who are WILLING to play, hurt most from this mechanism. They want to fight back but was kicked from the impropriate timer.
But those who just not want to play at all. Is just kind of wasting tickets and even performed worse than AI squads. Those are the players you want to kick.
What is the average duration for one battle? 30 mins?
If you get the feeling for a “nature call” midgame, i think you can hold it for damn 15 minutes.
And if nature calls earlier dont start the next battle.
I am fine with the timer but reconnect would be nice just in case your game crashed or something like that.
If an guy goes and make coffee in the game that person is not invested in the game and should be kicked. Theres a difference of grabbing an coffee and making it 2-3 min should be enough perhaps but well theres also the ones that go on and off all the time so can understand the short timer some how
