I didn’t report this as a bug because I believe that this was an intentional design choice, but it’s an issue and the weapon is almost unusable.
Here is the comparison between the normal PPSh-41 and the Parkerized PPSh-41.

That’s a pretty good request. Your video proves a very solid point and I second your notion to change the PSH-41 sight to the one you showed and the one that is desired.
My newest suggestion is probably the best suggestion in a long time, I’d suggest you check it out.
I was going to pick this squad up. Thanks for the post! Guess ill wait till they fix it!
i disagree, the sight was made like that, that the gun looks unique- a premium squad with a copy paste gun wouldnt be that great. I like the iron sight.
I watched the video several times before I figured out that the difference is the parkerized ppsh is a little closer to the screen. I have that squad and I can’t say I noticed a difference or had any problems aiming.
I’m not opposed to changing it, but I am curious why it’s being presented as such a problem
I do want to point out that I find it weird that the front of the gun moves less than the back of the gun as you fire it. Real guns do not work that way
Because the field of view is extremely hindered and the sights are misaligned
After further analysis I can confirm it wasn’t supposed to be like this, not only does it hinder field of view, but the sights are also misaligned.
I tried it in the test squad and those sights block half the screen! ewww! Great weapon otherwise, H and V recoil are nice, Just terrible when you aim.
I asked the devs about it years ago, if i remember correctly they said it was intentional to make it feel unique.
believe it or not.
it’s not a bug.
it’s… actually a feature.
which could be present on all weapons.
it’s essentially the shakyness of a weapon to a point where it jumps all over the place.
it’s often used to mitigated with recoil, or dispersion ( as a balancement factor ).
but in this case, it’s actual visual recoil rather than the weapon it self.
a bit hard to explain, but can adjusted in mods too on every weapon.
Iirc it’s to make the gun a little more unique compared to the normal version, I don’t mind the sights too much, just the visual recoil
Why would they intentionally missalign the sights? And why would they make it take up so much room which obstructs field of view?
