Whenever I play as Russia I take less damage, I get knocked down/killed by explosions less and have significantly better guns than Germany. I love the German guns but they always get slaughtered by Russia . When I play Germany, we have an edge on the allies but constantly lose to Russia. What I suggest is that Russia gets nerfed, America buffed (but only very slightly). and they fix explosions. I have been in games where a Russian in feet away from the grenade that I threw and I am farther away but I still get killed by my own grenade and they take 0 damage. It has gotten to the point where I just quit games against Russia.

There’s 2 main reasons Russia is strong right now:
They’ve given up in asymmetrical balancing and gave Russia the best BR2 semi auto and an M1 Bazooka to the TT. On top of this they have solid tanks and phenomenal aircraft for both the fighter and attacker roles. Compared to Germany it’s pretty clear which faction has better stuff.
BR3 Russia is really good, but for a while BR3 wasn’t worth playing since you could get uptiered to BR5. But since BR5 can’t match with BR3 and no one plays BR4 because it’s basically a double uptier, BR3 is in the strongest spot it’s ever been in. For BR3 Russia gets a BR4 semi auto, a BR4 SMG, a solid MG, a Panzerfaust, multiple really good tanks, and body armor. The only category where BR3 Russia falls short is in aircraft, but their BR2 aircraft are so good you can basically use them for BR3.
Russia is strong right now because of a brewing shitstorm of poor decisions.

the fact that the fedorov avtomat was the best gun in the game, and they still decided to buff its damage anyway, is all you need to know, the proof doesnt get any more clear than that
and the reasoning was that “hurr it fires the same bullet as the type hei auto” as if comparing an AR to a SF rifle makes sense, why dont we make the FG42 have the same damage as the kar98 since they fire the same bullet?

Buffed how give the 200 rounds LMGs 400 xD all we need is body armor removed from the Russians but they need some good vehicles since their ground attackers and fighters are a bit lackluster after BR III but not terrible. At the moment the allies are stronger faction then the soviets if you have some crazy event squads and premiums if you dont the Russians are stronger since everyone can buy body armor and also they have some OP event and premiums but the best ones are still allies.
