Everyone who owns the event squad knows how utterly broken this gun is.
It’s one of the more rage-inducing weapons in the game. Unironically you rather switch to your side arm.
Please at least make it even to M1 Carbine.

Back in pacific i gave them colt swartz because the main gun was so shit. Now i have no reason to use this squad when i can just take welgun that is 100 times better

Too bad it is a parachute squad, otherwise you could change from ammo pouches to carry a secondary weapon. That sucks, just like buying a medic squad where the gun sucks, you’re stuck with it.
That being said, if DF was fair, then this parachute squad, like EVERY parachute squad in the game would have manual INTERCHANGEABLE weapons loadouts like the SOVIETS have! Why in the hell would DF grant that option to ONE FACTION and ONE FACTION ONLY? Pretty fooked up IMOP, but what do I know, I know nothing about everything.

Yeah,the recoil is terrible for basically a reskinned M1 carbine,i get the folding stock isn’t as effective for recoil because of less weight,but damn.

tbh I have used the M1 carbine and the M1A1 carbine a lot and never noticed the difference. Might be from Vertical reload perks or I am just stupid. I will say I am not a huge fan of the sights on the M1A1 and much prefer the M1 carbine sights over the M1A1 (though I won’t complain about a buff to the M1A1)
Not to mention the reload animation is broken. You cock the charging handle when partially reloading. There’s no faster animation for reloading when the magazine is empty.
