emplaced machine guns have very limited range of motion making them useless in very useful locations and timing. they also have unlimited ammo for some reason but overheat, which is directly opposite of their squad carried counterpart who has limited ammo but doesn’t overheat yet has way better range of motion.
then there’s the fact that mounting your weapon is still very bugged at times with you laying your barrel into a window sill or placing it so that you can’t effectively pitch it.
also tank MG’s overheat waaaay too fast and should have the same rate as those of the emplacements, 3 mg’s don’t mean much when they overheat.
