AS-44 is a fantasy weapon. Only one prototype of that specific model was made and never saw actual combat.

Soviets already have very good infantry weapons - Fedorov, AVT-40, PPSh 41 so AS-44 will be useless.

My proposition is to replace AS-44 with…

1. Yak-9M (4200 were made vs 2700 Yaks-9T available in game) with increased ammo capacity (at least 600- 700 rounds) or some other fighter plane - because Soviets have the weakest fighter planes in entire game (limited ammo + no bombs or rockets).

2. Bazooka M9 transfered under the Lend-Lease and available for AT gunner II.

3. Paratroopers - this might ruin the balance, but - currently most games in Berlin are Soviets beginners vs Axis veterans, so they will not be used that often. Also - Soviets are the only faction in game without the paratroopers !

Just please, dont give AS-44, it is a fantasy weapon and will not help Soviets in any way.

AS-44 for soviet campaign?

Ive seen a reddit post where Evgeniy aka Keofox stated that he wants the AS-44 to be available for soviets in berlin campaign. Hmmm im askin why ? Why is it still needed to do things like that ? Since soviet players eventually prefer PPSH-41 and AVT, AVS rifles instead in the first place This addition should not happen, if the weapon will behave like current AS-44 in premium squad… it will destroy already full auto campaign and basically hinder any advantage the germans might have… what do yo…

I’m no gun nerd but if the Russians get AS-44 I want more fantasy weapons for the Germans And hell that the allies have fantasy weapons as well same with the Japanese and Tunisia .

And I’ve played custom games you do not want paratroopers in Berlin There are some spots in the map you can get stuck in if you use paratroopers so I don’t recommend it.

You’re better off having paratroopers in Moscow instead of Berlin

The M9 wasnt in the lend lease only the M1 Bazooka, so no.

That is just a regular Yak-9 with nothing special being changed, no bombs, no rockets. It is not worthy of such a high level.

Where did you dig that out of??? It only had 320 rounds of ammo, 200 12.7 and 120 20mm shells.

Copy / paste of German StG 44. Except the Germans built above 400 000 StGs, while Soviets - only one AS-44 of that model.

i’ll defenitely listen to you when devs delete mkb in Moscow and Stalingrad, F2 in Moscow and strictly limitate usage of any FG42 by 1-2 classes

Well that’s honestly not some serious fault since maps are all ok like Stalingrad’s living area. If i have ways of entering KT’s back (oh yeah♂️) by flanking without chances of being easily killed by gray zone or spawning infantry and return back, I don’t care about my Sherman’s “weakness”. Berlin’s main catastrophe is stupid straight and small battle zones with many annoying obstacles which also disappear at quite close distance, while guns&cannons are superior to all other champaigns in terms of DPS and range. But complaints about Soviet weaponry are funny for now

I this not only about fantasy weapons (one prototype of AS-44 vs 400 000 StGs), but rather gameplay / balance.

However, I know that people who play Berlin Soviets are the weakest part of Enlisted community:

So in fact - better fighter plane or even paratroopers will not help anything here.

Normandy Allies have Thompson M1928A1 to counter the STG44.
If its good enough than why not a lend-lease M1928A1?

Tiger I built: 1,347
Tiger II built: 492

You cant spawn that many even if you have all players cycle it with suiciding right after spawn.

Fun aside, both Germans and Soviets mass used captured stuff and Im very dissapointed that all we recieved so far were MP717(r), MP41(r) and Soviet Breda I didnt even know they used (considering how much it sucks).

At least premiums or gold orders or events.

people who play Berlin Soviets are the weakest part of Enlisted community

in the brain.
Had 2 matches as Berlin allies yesterday, 100% full battle on both sides, no vets on German side, Soviets still lost because they dont build rallies.
Even bots are better in Berlin, had a match there before they fixed vets getting into newbie matches and Allies AI is very buffed.

Moscow balance could have been fixed with captured T-34 and Pphs41, but no, devs gave Axis PzIV F2 and Mkb42 so now I have to listen russian kids cry that it hurts their historical nonsense.
