In new update we got new axes and new knifes (British,German,Italian,Soviet and US)
Can you tell me what models they are? I would be also thankfull if you could send me some article with informations about them
The British knife in Tunisia is the “Fairbairn-Sykes fighting knife”. We got the SAS event squad be earlier this year and the knife was supposed to unique to them, but the devs did something and now they are a default weapon.

The Italians in Tunisia appear to just have the Carcano M1891 bayonet as their knife, guess Italy couldn’t afford a proper knife
The Americans in both Normandy and Pacific appear to have the M3 trench knife.

The Japanese in the Pacific appear to have a nondescript Tantō knife of sorts, can’t give many specifics because there doesn’t appear to be any which were standard issue, there doesn’t even appear to be a general blade shape like a Katana. The standard issue knife would probably have been the Type 30 bayonet, or the one of the Guntō variants if they were an NCO or superior.
The Russians in Moscow, Stalingrad and Berlin appear to have the NR-40, this was the default knife skin until last patch.
Not entierly sure what the Germans have in Moscow, Stalingrad, Normandy and Berlin, it looks similar to the Seitengewehr variants, but there are a few distinct features present on a proper one that the in game model appears to lack, namely a hand guard if it’s a Seitengewehr 98 and the bulge in the handle if it’s a Seitengewehr 42.
The British axe in Tunisia is the Royal Air Force crash axe. It was designed to be used in the event of a crash and the crew could not escape from the wreck.

Can’t find anything on the other axes because I don’t think they were issued as a part of any standard issue kit. I can try to look into civilian market stuff, but that will take a while longer. Just know that the the Russian and American ones both look like a simple work axe or a hatchet, the German one looks like a multitool of sorts, with axe, hammer, and nail remover in one. This was also the default axe until last patch. The Italian one looks like a Tomahawk for some reason and the Japanese have a carpenter hatchet. 90% sure the devs just looked up Insert respective country here axes and called it a day.

I hope eventually they make appropriate content for campaigns that feature 2 vs 2 factions. For example, in Tunisia we should have both American and British equipment, ie knives, grenades, etc instead of one or the other.
I like to have my soldiers have relatively appropriate gear.

That could also mean Ka-Bar in Pacific, but I guess we will have to wait and see.
