Me and many others have made this suggestion a long time ago, and it seems it was fixed back then. However, I am increasingly seeing more and more spawns inside attics again, and this needs to be fixed.
It can’t be stressed enough how terrible attic-spawns are to the game. It traps the bots, it might make entire teams lose because of a single poorly-built spawn (I have witnessed this several times already), and once such a rally is built, then there is very little that can be done (since you can’t demolish rally points built by your own team) other than warn players in the chat… but by then dozens of bots might already have been trapped. Nobody likes this, and it makes the game look bad due to the evident glitch/malfunction.
I’m not sure why anyone still tries to do this and attempt this “exploit”, but I’m up for, and I think most players will agree with, the placement of spawns in attics and high elevations above ground in general being completely blocked. Add a message, similar to the one saying “can’t build rallies too close to capture points”, but saying something in the lines of “hard-to-reach locations are no place to rally soldiers!” and be done with it. It would do no harm to the game at all, only improve it, and remove a much-hated exploit.

Maybe just improve AI? They still can’t use ladders, it’s so stupid.

There are no rally points up here, it’s your imagination

From what I have found in the past there are 2 main reason for people putting attic rallies
1: They don’t know better … instructing in chat usually resolves
2: Intentional - either to troll or because they don’t want the ai following them and want to play lone wolf … instructing of actual lone wolf mode in custom games usually resolves for the non trolls. For trolls tap through your spawn to free your squad and change spawn point on next spawn screen and move on
Really the answer is always the same- if you don’t like them, you don’t have to use them.
If you think someone has below room-temperature IQ to keep spawning up there without noticing bots can get stuck, they weren’t going to win for you anyway

Since some updates ago if two rally points are close they are shown as the same on map, happen quite oftenly to build a rally point inside a building and some dumbfuck build one on the attics and fuck your rally point up, then you have to either move yours to a more distance place leaving the objective exposed for a bigger time (both to run back to it and to build a second rally point that can take up to a minute to set everything up).
Also new players aren’t the smartest and while they really aren’t the biggest killers of the gane I like them better when they are pushing with their bits as my chances to be shot decreases when amidst them.
Also, one single time I spawn on such rally point is detrimental enough as I have to free every single of my soldiers from it while the ones that are already down are exposed and shot beyond losing some precious time, enough to lose a objective or to lose momentum on a push.
It may teach other less experienced players to build there too inducing them to error and spreading this habit as a disease.
Usually people that build rally points on attics use them to camp leaving their bots stuck there active sabotaging his own team by not helping the push/defense.
Rally points on attics aren’t nearly as safe as the floor ones as a single grenade thrown from outside the building through a window can take up to 3-4 squads stuck there wasting tickets to the attacker team.
I am sure there are several other reasons why it is bad and should definitely be addressed at some point by the devs, those are just the ones that made me lose several games.
ya im always on my own and my bots are way back at spawn or somtin
The problem is that developers haven’t improved AI

they blocked attic doors now, you can still glimp there outside and be totaly hidden
I think along side this suggestion it needs to be noted that ANY spawn that traps AI should be broken when too many friendly soldiers are within close proximity to it. This includes but is not limited to:
- Attic spawns
- Hole spawns
- Filling the entire room with sandbags
- etc.
I would like to note that there is apparently some “exploit” that a number of people are trying to do by doing so. I haven’t looked into it personally as I prefer to play as intended, but its been mentioned to me. Overall, I think that if more than 15 soldiers are clustered up in very close proximity to each other through any of the methods, that spawn point should automatically break.
