The unlocking mechanism is the same, for example, if you unlocked German sniper 1 you’ll still get the 8th Recon Battalion, but then after that you’re allowed to change it from a roster of approved insignias and names.

The idea is actually interesting.
Every squad would have 2-3 possible “identities” to choose from, with different insignias, to be changed at will.
i gladly pay 20-50 gold to change my lame ass panzer division sniper team to a fallschirmjager one, of course alongside with the addition of purchasable premium paratrooper skin

Sadly not but we can dream, I dont want British and Italian trees like others.
I just want the ability to pick a German or Italian squad, or a Commonwealth or American squad.
Separating the trees just seems like a dumb way to divide the playerbase more.

Damn came out swinging there, nah I get what you mean, you must have missed that half a dozen other threads over the last couple days about it.
Lots of people want this customisations, but a solid group of those people are talking about tree separation for the Italians and British. Which as I said I think as dumb, and did want to clarify since its a related post
