With the upcoming major update the US is going to get the T20 Early Rifle. This means that 9-man rifleman squads are going to be the new meta for the US just like Japan. But the problem is I have only one British rifleman squad from the Battle of Tunisia before the merge. On top of that I am forced to scavenge for riflemen in my British engineer, AT, sniper, assaulter squads. Since there is no way to buy British riflemen or engineers in the game. Given this scenario it will be highly appreciated if:
We are able to buy all soldier types by nationality.
On top of that the devs must make sure that one out of every three tech tree squads for each soldier type belongs to these minority nations.
Currently this is the case for only some soldier types like Assaulter IIs, MG Is for the British etc. This is especially beneficial for those who didn’t play the game pre-merge. Since we are not going to get them as independent factions any time soon.
I really like to play as the British. My current setup of MG and assaulter squad allows me to do so. But it feels so bad to use US riflemen in my British squads. Totally immersion breaking. Please look into this.
Nationalities are a bit of a mess in the game unfortunately.
I currently play Germany and collect gold order soldiers in my squads but several of them are Italians.
I dont really mind, but it’s just weird, enlisting new soldiers for my German squads and then get Italians.
IMO soldier nationality is bad mechanic that will just get more and more confusing as time goes on. Soldiers nationality should change depending on what squad you put him in.
It’s a squad I love, no joke It’s funny to bring them, as I clearly see it confuse new players.
Enemies sometimes hesitate as they don’t know what they are. Friendlies often circle around me because it’s the first time they look at them. They’re like: “what theeee…”
