Just what the title says, my first “PWESE DAWRK FOWWW AD DIZ TO DE GEEEIMMM” is this, please add the remaining 80mm mortars to bot the IJA and the Allies, as all my posts before always say, we need them for more variety and even balance, it would be even cooler if you could also add the Brit 3-inch Mortar for even more variety’s sake, hell, add a Mortar Man II squad to the US TT so they can have that mortar there.

The entire premise of the Commonwealth being a US subfaction is because of the fear of splitting the playerbase, this is a sound compromise but would involve fair treatment and representation for the Commonwealth in return, something that DF has been failing to provide. Making both available in the tech tree would be a first step towards fair and equal representation for all, and Italy should hopefully recieve something as well of course.
I may ramble on about the “unfair treatment of the Commonwealth”, but that’s just because it’s the faction I would main if it was available to me (I’d still play my various German and Japanese lineups of course, but everyone has a favourite), but Italy really is the forgotten faction of Enlisted.
I don’t know why DF just doesn’t take the obvious W that would be a Italian Campaign update (Invasion of Sicily, Monte Casino or Anzio Landings, all cool just pick one and add the others at a later date), mixed in with a proper subfaction overhaul, with the promise of more subfactions in the (probably distant) future. Fleshing out both the Commonwealth and Italy would be incradably easy, they’ve got the building blocks, just use them and then fill in any obvious missing holes in the tech tree.

I KNOW! Sicily would be such a major (and frankly logical) way to take this game, imagine big, open and vertical maps, the Italian views, the FERDINAND, some more, but nah, we’re rushing to the cold war for no reason it seems, damn shameful tbh, I’ve been playing since 2021, I think, and I’m so sad to see that all their efforts seem to be placed in just BR V sweatfests, no more balances, only 1 new map, no new pacific or meaningful Japanese additions, just meta things, Japan should focus on bolties, no just experimental things, but nah, people want jets and more ARs, damn shame
I have too! The only problem I have is that I got quite a crappy microphone and that I would either tire myself out trying to hold my borrowed British-adjacent accent for 15 minutes or subjecting everyone to my Swenglish (I have been told by native Englishmen that I can sound quite posh even in my natural English though). I would have no trouble actually filling out a tech tree though!
