Please add a mine pouch to backpacks

Grenade pouches, backpacks for medkits, and ammo pouches exist, why not expand options on mines?

Defenses could definitely use this. Allowing a person to carry a versatile set or loading up on one type is both beneficial.

As far as cost, make the small cost 2 silver, and the large cost 3 silver. Considering the cost of mines, it would be fairly costly to fully load someone.

In addition, I think being able to place multiple pieces of TNT attached to one plunger could add some amazing experiences to the game. Similarly, actual minefields with AP or AT mines could change the game for the better.

Seems a little OP, could only really see it being done with TNT, as it’s harder to use.

I support this idea. Because in Normandy I use a squad en engineer with 6 mines anyway and mine are very visible if you pay little attention to the ground and not rush like a tard.

what i think is that we need a option to equip at least 3 grenades on our soldiers, but before this is added, each grenade needs its own slow-ass arming animation, so noone can spam them easily

I was thinking this too, it would be cool to see minefields in the game and being able to make them yourself.

mines should just be a backpack option just like medkits and tool kits

With the large grenade pouches you do get 3 grenades per. As far as spamming, the only really spammable one is Molotov’s. The rest you need to cook or they’ll get thrown back.

technically you can “spam” smokes, but it’s not really an issue.

Keep in mind that explosives and bullets still trigger mines, so they are still quite simple to counter. Setting minefields would still take time and resources.

How often do you really see mines in the current state? 100% honesty, I’ve only seen them in 1/10 games. Currently only good for doorways and AT mines are almost worthless with how many different places they could go.

use tank traps to funnel them to them

at least one in every game ( even up to 5 ) you’d be surprises about minefield. i guess those are not like they used to pre nerf. but still.

outside pacific since not alot of people use them

I rarely if ever see them in Moscow, and haven’t seen any in the Pacific yet although it is new

I try to, but my teammates always tear them down because they are worse at pathfinding than bots. Instead of going through the gap 10m over to the side, they would rather tear down 3 blockers so they can drive right through…

Endless kamikaze and tanks, unrestricted death, barbed wire and AA guns, and now mine field.

well still, you can throw them real fast, which doesnt make sense especially when it comes to stick grenades, they cant be armed in 1 second, they require a cap to be unscrewed, then you pull that cap, THEN you throw it, thats good 5-6 seconds of arming the grenade.
same thing could be done with all other grenades, developers would just have to be creative about it.
other non harming grenades such as smoke grenades could get a bit sped up animation so you can get some cover real easy

its almost as if this is war, and people are doing drastic unorthodox things to survive… Weird.
