Players who don't set rally should suffer a -30%XP debuff

I don’t think increasing the score reward is enough to make those noobs or lazy people learn how to build rally
We should take a more radical approach to urge players to collaborate tactically

Really? come on

I find those calling for rally’s to be built, are usually those that don’t do it them selves, and if you only one, building, well more points for you.

but you will lose

Under the enemy’s high-density air strikes and artillery, everyone must establish a rally to ensure a continuous flow of cannon fodder into the point.

So true, feed the point.

But you cant make them do it bro

is why i have one engineer every squad, points for me, and loosing is not so bad btw,
is more points once again, as you not competing with the stack in your team, for points.

24h from now, watch how many rally’s will be in game,

They can do it, but only when there is a reward, once they hit 50 uses, they stop, till next stage.

as much i understand and i share the frustration of others not building their own rally point.

i have to disagree there.

because as much rallies are important, it’s not needed that the whole team places at least one rally point for the entirety of the match when there are already a couple of them.

heck, me or sometimes my friends, will not place a rally for the entirety of the game because there are already one or more placed.

which would be time wasted if i had to place a 4th / 6th if not 8th rally on the map just to counter this xp debuf.

time which that individual could have used to attack the actual point and put pressure on the attacker / defenders.

or counter enemy rallies.

so, i think increasing the xp should be the way to go about it.

but not decresase.

How many games get spammed “Need a Rally Point” by the incel hogging air support all game.

This game is just frustrating now.

Technically speaking, when playing in a full team against other full teams, all 4 of you building rallies all the time can potentially make you lose the game.

Usually 2 rallies are needed to win a game, and three are optimal… but more than that is overkill.

Every moment spent on something different than applying pressure on the enemy is a potential risk.

I don’t think punishing someone for not partaking in some part of the game is fair or justified - even if said part is as important as rallies.

In the end you don’t necessarily need to build one for your team to be effective.

If that is wahat you want than be braced for a flood of mandatory attic rallies because people might already be pissed off…

I think that this game should promote it more and reward those who build them. I think it would also be good to keep them as parts needed for the events

Not everyone needs to build rallies anymore, we also have the mobile truck rallies, which I find myself using more now than building rallies with an engineer.

Oh dear! And there was me thinking that spending 5 minutes driving an APC through a wood to a distant corner of the map was time well spent :slightly_frowning_face:

Add VOIP and provide structure for teams (separate teams into “regiments”; there will be a normal chat for the team and a regimental chat for each separate “regiment”).

No need to punish players for not building, since being able to be tactical is not in the game.

How about getting a bonus of 100 silver for each rally point you build and used?

Punishment is a bad way, very bad.
It is necessary to encourage.

If my teammates build enough rally points, I won’t build them
Because there are enough

Maybe it’s because you haven’t encountered a smart opponent.
Sometimes the attacker will spend several minutes clearing rallyes with mortars, artillery and aircraft before attacking
In this situation, no rally will survive for more than two minutes. All that can be done is to build a large number of rallies in all directions and pray that the next round of mortars will not hit this direction.

The point of having more than 2 rallies is redundancy.
Ive had a match in Pacific on attacking side where we capped the 1st point (hangar no1) because the US only built one or two rallies that I’ve killed easily and they just got overrun before they managed to run back from spawn.
2nd point (the 2nd hangar) had at least SIX rallies in the trench behind it and I just could not kill all of them before i ran out of soldiers and by the time I got back several more rallies were rebuilt. They only lost that point because they eventually got bored of rebuilding them, but at that point we were out of tickets anyway

So yeah, two rallies on separate flanks often can be enough, but not when enemy team is actually playing the game

Game already has VOIP lol, just no one uses it because its a bit scuffed and I think open mic by default. It’s F2 on PC

That’s only for the squad

Oh :frowning:
Voice comms could be nice, but they would also have to add ability to mute people somehow
Used to play an rts/fps game where almost everyone used a mic, it was super fun…
Although I’d probably see something like this

And end up muted for next billion years

I stop making rally points when others doesn’t do the same or im the only one doing it. simple as
