the past few days is the biggest example of that, countless posts with 100+ plus replies whining about BA buff and the change in movement
There’s clearly 2 sides of the playerbase: the ones that want to play Fortnite ala COD and those who want realism in a ww2 game
It may be a significant loss of players but it’s one that will be for the better of the game future
We don’t need COD/Fortnite players who only know to whine and suggest terrible ideas in the forum that only benefit their wicked WW2 power fantasy of dual wielding SMG super soldiers.
You don’t even need a game like hell let lose in this game. We don’t need any of the bolt-action #1 camper players who only give whining and horrible ideas on forums.
And to tell you to leave the game because you don’t agree with your own opinion doesn’t seem worth posting on this forum.
While I don’t think the situation is as bad to the point of reversing the changes or quiting the game most of the people that are leaving will actually be missed as people that get inside the point were always such a rare commodity.
A general review of the map design and objectives of the game would be nice along this update, but it only brought half of what was needed to make the game more slow paced and strategic, the result is that we got the camperfest we have today with people doing absolutely anything but getting inside the objective.
I’m not going to speak for the playerbase, because I really can’t.
But I do concur with your conclusions to most levels.
If people are bitching because they can’t B-Hop with MG’s and Spray rooms down, and that they get pegged from 150M by a new player who we hope to keep in this game, I’m all for it.
New blood, keeps the game going. Eventually whales like myself will get bored and move on. We can’t be the reliable revenue stream for a game. It needs to be new blood.
I remember for one place I was a part of, established players accounted for between 30-45% of revenue. New players the rest.
That makes it essential for the game, its design choices to make sure that new players and new player retention is prioritized.
Games stagnate and die otherwise.
Well, 7.92mm military grade ammunition is supersonic out to 1000m, so, yeah, its realistic that at 400m you get hit by that in centre mass , you’re gonna die.
Even my lowly K31 using Czech Ammo is good out to 800m.
The dispersion I agree with, but they have to do something to make sure guns aren’t lasers either.
I just think ppl shouldn’t defend a balance change with the execution of realism, otherwise MANY weapons(firstly all LMGs and Semiautos should do 20+ damage) of bullets should OHK in this game. It’s a balance change after all.
Both sides of the playerbase are wrong. This isn’t call of duty/fortnite/other cringy games of that genre or hell let loose/those other boring ww2 games. but the game plays more like call of duty than hell let loose , if ya want a slow paced fpsgame dont fill enlisted forums up with complaints just move on tbh. the new bolt buff /semi auto firerate just lets more guns keep up the pace.
fun fact: one of the top 20 longest confirmed shots was done by with m1903 springfield at 1.3 thousand meters and the highest confirmed kill was done with a canadian bolt action AMR at 3,000 meters
It’s “à la” it’s French, or at least “a la”.
Just like “rendez-vous”, “cliché” or “déjà vu” or “eau de toilette” or “même”.
Now if you excuse me, I have to go. It’s close to 14h00 in France and as you know it’s a customs to sing the nationnal anthem in front of a Napoléon statu while eating cheese. It brings good luck.
