I’ve played many WWII games and this game is at the top. The gameplay is sound, visualizations are spot on, and the weapon set/squad structure is unique. However, I do think this games lacks many of the basic qualities that can turn off potential players. The ability to outfit and manage your squads is cumbersome at best. Is there a way to inventory all of the unused weapons into one tab for those squads or players that are not in your lineup? Being able to do a side by side of squads and a simple click drag to adjust your squad equipment would make things much better—and I’d be much more apt to continue investing in the product. Any plans around this?
I agree, there should be an ability to lock squads equipment. The equipment on unlocked and benched squads could then be used freely to equip current squads in your lineup. The equipment should show up in the list of available equipment, if another benched soldier has it equipped.
I share the same input. The game it’s actually amazing comparing to all ww2 shooters I did play in the past. It’s nice we see new faces in the foruns. I hope you engage with the community more as you play.

It’s probably something we will see as the game progresses over the following months /years.
The game did evolve Alot last year, even tho playerbase always look on the negative side of things.
Give them time, and I m sure one day we will have a better squad /aí management system
Smooth and user friendly menus and UI in general are still a mirage in War Thunder after 8 years, I wouldn’t keep my hopes really high here.
It took, like, 6 months or more? Just for same soldiers class of different tiers to have compatible inventories, without having to equip them from scratch at every swap (and with the academy, we would swap half a squad every match).
I would love for the developers to implement that it can be decided how many orders of bronzes I am going to spend to buy random weapons. Instead of having to spend them one by one. It would be great if I could spend my 10 bronze orders in just two or three clicks.
