As enlisted continues to grow, I wanted everyone’s thoughts on the current soldier setup.
A player is restricted to the number of magazines, clips, or rounds, each soldier can carry in-game. But what if it were made so you can choose, but under the penalty of weight?
E.G. the more equipment you carry, the slower your player becomes, quicker their stamina is used, and slower to recover.
You may already know each in-game item has a weight; rifles, mines, medpacks, cartridges… even japanese binoculars have a weight of 240.0g in game.
Instead of a single small/large pouch… What if you can add whatever equipment, utility belt, pouches, backpacks?
For instance, some US paratroopers in the war would jump with an M1A1 Thompson and carry two pouches (x5 magazine capacity) on their suspenders, in addition to a musette bag. Meaning they would be carrying roughly 300 rounds into combat, plus a small pack of general items. Significantly more than what the game provides you.
However, to maintain balance, classes still exist, and only certain solders can carry certain firearms.
But what do you think? Each item already has a documented weight in game? what if you had full flexibility and responsibility on what you bring into a match, but at the consequence of its weight and how that may greatly effect your mobility?
