I find that player movement speed is too sluggish,might want to base movement speed on weight .
Yeah, it doesn’t feel very smooth, wish they change it to be better suited for FPS genre.

Try running with a backpack and a rifle on the snow, if your speed is below 30kmh, you are too slow.
That’s not true, even soldier with just a single rifle and 1 grenade is damn slow, on forest map too.
The movement is sluggish, and many people don’t like it, this is arcade game after all, so don’t try the realism argument.

Right? Some of us haven’t had to carry four days worth of everything we need on our back, plus rifle and ammo and armor, and it shows.
most units drop their extra gear before an assault. 1 rifle and a grenade should not have me at a crawl.
Each soldier type has their own stat buffs that affect their speed. Flametroopers and Assaulters are the slowest, while shotgunners and engineers are the fastest, as far as I noticed. You slow down the more gear you carry, an engineer carrying only a rifle and a wrench becomes a real speedy boi
Dude, according to a WW1 Italian war manual an infantry soldier was required to carry at least 22kg of equipment in battle: that’s much more than a rifle and one grenade. Also, weight could be used to balance semiauto weapons since they were heavier than bolt action rifles.

I do think that movement is a bit sluggish. There is also a small amount of delay, but that could just be because of crappy connection in the land down under. I think movement just needs to be a little tighter, not necessarily faster.
If you want to go fast, I think that players should manage their squads inventory in a way that reflects this. Want to be a speedy boi going zoom around the map? well, you’re certainly not going to be lugging around a heavy machine gun to accomplish that. And you may have to allow only some of your squad members to carry essential equipment. IE medkits, grenades, etc.
That’s just my input on movement. I’m interested to hear what others think
Movement in Enlisted should be tuned a little bit more. It’s infuriating at times. We know that they’re going for a semi-realistic take, although it shouldn’t feel downright clunky.

If you unlock the perks that relate to run/sprint, you will know how fast those fighters could be, and it is of course UNREALISIC!
Well the guys have a rifle or two, ammunition, grenades and first aid kits. i don’t think they would run very fast, i think it should stay as is.
I haven’t been bothered by the movement speed, feels alot like Red Orchestra. Actually Enlisted feels faster than other WW2 shooters, but I’m open to more responsive\tight controls.
I feel the speed is perfect mabye faster movement speed for like a arcade mode but not for like a realistic mode but i think the movement is good right now
The movement speed of your soldier is defined by its class and weight. Radio operators have a +2 speed stat but are slowed down by their radio, while the engineer has +1 speed and only a lightweight wrench. Try equipping an engineer with only a pistol/rifle and nothing else, it goes super fast

i dont know… when i play russian bomber with rifle, dynamite, medkit and PTRD on my back, and i switch weapon to knife, i feel like i am usain bolt -.- its weird
