I know that my suggestion may sound a bit bland. but how about an additional option “More ammunition + Grenades”, when I just want to play the weapons the paratroopers actually come with? Due to the parachutes they can’t wear ammo belts, and in reality their supply base would pack the supply crates with supply for their main armament as well!

Give all paratroopers in BR1-2 BR2 anti-tank weapon. Bazooka for Americans and Soviets and type 5 for Japanese.

I agree, the MP 38 is not comparable
I’m gonna be real the devs are releasing a bunch of terrible ideas this included. why is the assault kit going to alternate between lmg/smg? that will widly change how i use that loadout (it is the one I primarily use so is particularly concerning) br1-2 at rifle??? nobody uses them to begin with so that’s out the window. what’s the actual thought process?

I think that USA and Soviet should get an M1 Bazooka at BR I-II. Taking the risk of paradropping an AT squad and finding oneself with an useless AT rifle would be too harsh.

Good thing that PPS-42 is better than PPS-43. So it’s yet another Soviet buff.

This is great but alot of players don’t have access to paratroopers since they are either old event squads or premium squads ant are not unlockable in the tech tree. Can we PLEASE have an event to unlock a squad or two??Heck June 5th is when they dropped into Normandy…perfect timing!
Also, PLEASE keep the silver victory boxes in the shop year round so we at least have a SLIM chance of getting an old squad…I still have 26 to go!

They really should drop G43 (+Sniper) to BR3 so we wouldn’t need be forced to use paras just to have comparable semi auto to SVT-38 (Sniper too) at BR3. Anti-German bias as always.
Disagree about Type 96 lmg being bad, you should try it as it got massive buff now it’s pretty much AR with perfect accuracy no ADS mov dispersion it’s one of the best lmgs at BR3.
Nah there are a lot better option for pistols including spanish machine pistols(they were essentially a copy c96)which were exported to china or very rare Siamese 1911 cooy(Its machine pistol)

knowing how darkflow treated the ppsh 41 obrez, i would imagine an m2 carbine obrez would be absolutely terrible
Giving russia PPS-43 and Germany MP 38 has to be a joke… Sorry but those are not even close, every russian smg is better than german counterpart yet y’all give germans magically not even the best (which is still worse than russian) option. Also of course russian get autosniper when germany gets kar BRUH. Germany of course doesnt have autosniper at rank III in tech tree but maybe there are event guns or something? Funny thing i dont even own german paratropers but those doubble standards need to change. Also mortar need to be standardised either all nation gets better mortar at the same br or none of them get them. Have a good day/night to who ever is reading this.

Dark Gaijin loves kicking German players in the balls even tho most have already left and joined other more fun nations with each update anti-german bias is getting worse and worse.
Especially since redditors and ru forum loves when Sov/USA gets more and more op so they don’t need to think just hold left+w and win matches.
And no Germany has no such privileges of getting good BR3 semi snipers for free you gotta pay up
as they are a paypig nation after all.

I’m just curious why for the assault loadout you have SMGs? The majority of paratrooper squads already come with SMGs. But anyway-
M1 Bazooka for BR 1-2 Soviets because launchers generally outclass AT guns
MP 40 for BR 1-2 Germans because it is more historically accurate and it wouldn’t hurt
MG 42 or MG 34 75 rounds for BR 3-4 Germans since Kiraly is a Hungarian gun
M1 Bazooka for BR 1-2 Americans because launchers generally outclass AT guns
Browning M1918A2 for BR 2-3 Americans since it is more historically accurate
M21/28 Thompson for BR 3-4 British since it is more historically accurate
Browning M1919A6 for BR 4-5 British since it is more historically accurate

It is, how did this thought even pass inspection? In whose mind was it ever a good idea not pick not just the less common weapon, but also the weaker weapon? Cockup before conspiracy, but I have a hard time explaining why anyone thought giving the Germans the MP 38 over the MP 40 not being on purpose.
However, I wouldn’t want the Germans to have anything other than the MP 40 for BR I-II. “Balance” be damned, until we get tech-tree or fully customizable paratroopers I would like the standard paratroopers weapon for the paratroopers.
The Kar98k should have been in both BR I-II and II-III ranges, it’s dumb that the Gewher is even in here. However, unless a event or premium weapons makes it into the tech-tree (there are candidates overall to this, I think the Lewis and Vickers K should be in the TT for example), we’re kinda stuck. I have heard talk of a G 41 with a different scope than the Premium one (one that would even alter the way the gun is used so as to not tread on the premium version), that one should be added but until then the Pre-war Kar98k is what we’ve got.
Not all mortars were created equaly, I prefer them behaving realisticly to real world attribites rather than them being carbon copies with different skins but otherwise are exactly the same. And when mortars are so different that they can not be considered the same BR, well that is perfectly fine, it’s not a injustice, the factions are just different.
Still waiting for another Japanese mortar though…
Tokyo Arsenal SMG having the potential to be in BR III? Are you guys insane? It might be Tier IV, but the risk of it being out a para box on a downtier… put the SIG 1920 or so in there instead. Just my thoughts.
If the box gives you a tokyo then the lobby is already a BR4 match and thus is already infested with BR4 weapons…
In the supposed downtier you will only get the type 96 lmg.
