Guess a plane would get destroyed if you manage to hit it with 300 rounds of your MG, while also hitting it multiple times with a 20mm auto canon AND twice with a 75mm tank gun?
Guessed wrong, plane damage model is really bad right now, and needs to be fixed before the new “bombing strike” mechanic gets implemented.

No. You are right. Everybody knows it and I think the devs are curently testing a new pmane damage model.

I mean back in CBT Moscow if you emptied your MG34 into the general direction of an enemy plane it would go down about 50% of the time. That was pretty ridiculous.
However what I described in my post above is no joke, that really happened to me.
Now sure the “godmode” title is a bit of a exaggeration, "yes planes CAN die if you keep shooting at them, one lucky headshot to the pilot and hes dead, or a direct hit to the center of the plane with your tank main gun “can” kill the plane, however not always ( which is still absolutely insane )
The best strategy for fighting back aircraft is still “ignoring” it and letting it kill you from time to time.
I don’t understand why DF don’t just copy paste DM from War thunder.
Thank god they atleast nerfed the mini-nukes.
