Since the most recent Update “Forest Shadows” about 1 week ago, some planes seem to fly differently.
When turning or pulling up, the pilot will jerk the stick and make the plane will wobble.
Like a boat bobbing on waves.
Obviously this is not an improvement.
I dont remember which planes I used that did this.
I did have a 3 minute long dogfight in a Me 262 so it was probably that one.
I tried to reproduce it in practice mode, a few different planes from different nations, but can only find the Focke Wulfs affected…
But those were all broken already anyway.
But since I never use Fws because of that, I’m positive I used another plane in battle which had the same problem.
A-8
D-9
There are already 2 bug reports made since the update, oddly both regarding the Fw 190 A-8.
The good news is: one was already accepted.
But I havent used a Fw since the update, so I’m pretty sure more planes are affected.
So not only did they not fix the broken flight model of the 190s but actually made it much worse…
Flying the planes feel very much like a frog is in charge of your steering as it is leaping in the air now.
When before the flight model was just a pain to use and line up with now it is borderline unplayable as you got like 0 control over where your plane will point when it is leaping through the sky.
So far I found
JU 87 B2/ R 2 ( D series is fine somehow)
All the BF 110s
all the FW 190s
USA
mosquito
Dauntless (but barely noticable unless you look at the stick)
USSR
IL 3
So most testing was just 5 to 10 seconds flying in the practice range so if there are special conditions for a plane to wobble I would most likely have missed it but those did it right after spawning in.
@YuіHіbіki you might want to look into that aswell.
Ah yes, I had that exactly that with almost every Japanese plane, the pilot was always “pumping” the rod to move up.
As for Fw it is true that it lost its maneuverability recently thanks to this, I lost two dogfights because it was too slow
Hi,
As mentioned, I have a big trouble with that weird ascending, its very hard to lift up from the carriers with an use of some Japanese planes without mashing the S button .
That “pumping” is present with:
D3A1 (Its the worst one, barely lifts, touches the carrier twice while doing so)
B5N2 (it lifts off pretty good in comparison to others, but its “pumping” to move upwards as well instead of just holding it)
D4Y1 (cant even aim with it properly due to the wobbly ascending)
Rest should be good, if you want to see a difference with the planes that work correctly just see A5M4 and A6M2 Reisen
I’m really wondering…it doesnt seem realistic that something was done to all these planes individually.
More realistic is that one thing was done, that affected all these planes…?
