Now every plane is able to find tanks/APCs in 2km by spamming “V” to the battlefield.
Decrease the max mark distance to 500m or closer.

Pilot mains will tell you that this is a compromise for planes, because of their poor render distance.

Well, a mechanic that requires teamplay should work with friends now doesn’t it?
Also planes just like tanks should mainly be infantry support instead of only fighting each other, in the end fighting infantry is what makes you win matches.

So long as we have the grey zone mechanic and tanker mains abusing the shit out of it, I 100% support 2km self-marking regardless of what happens with the render distance.

i have been using this for at least a year, so it is not a new mechanic.
there is no teamplay in this game, so no mechanic should be dependent on teamplay.

Tanks can respawn, planes can respawn, but in the mean time tanks will have killed infantry- supporting in taking the objective - planes will have not.
Planes being supposedly counters to greyzone tanks is a lie. If anything, pilots that only focus on taking out tanks might as well stay afk.
it was implied by putting now into sentence. you are making sentence in a way that would imply that this was not possible before.
idk what is a lie here. they are really good counters to gray zone tanks. btw good pilots multitask with taking enemy aircrafts, tanks and infantry.

Where’s the lie? Don’t project your skill issues to others. They are the best and depending on faction / battle tier balance, often the only consistent way to deal with grey zone tanks.

You have overreacted. What I mean is that I have only recently started mainly piloting airplanes in LF mode

They have to learn how to throw a bomb into a tank’s face

Instead of wasting time in the sky and letting the infantry continue to be slaughtered

If you haven’t encountered this kind of tank
That means they are all third-class drivers.
They just want to earn points but don’t want to work hard for their own survival

Every week I see at least 3 Tigers or King Tigers that have successfully escaped the vertical suicide attack of the P47.
They made perfect use of the terrain and architecture
I guess what you encountered wasn’t good enough.
First:
Introduce PROPER rendering distance. It’s not normal we can see tracers bullets and canon flashes, but not the vehicles when far enough.
It’s why pilots do this.
