Why is it that I loaded into a D-Day match and a plane/bomber player was able to wipe out two full squads from the get go with his ridiculous AoE Damage but a tanks HE can hit right next to multiple infantry and maybe get a hit marker . . it’s pretty stupid how weak the HE are and if balance is the reason I give you bomber players with 10+ kills every strafe as example A as to why that’s bs

Planes shouldnt be spawned in as the first spawn for anyone. Make it be a second spawn or a give it a timer until you can jump in them

He didn’t say to take them out completely? I agree a plane being to spawn first thing and wipe out over half the team before they get a chance to spread is really stupid game design.
Same goes for tanks Id say 5-10 minutes from start should planes and tanks be allowed!
Because rockets carry a lot more explosive filler than a 50mm HE shell.

About the question why plane he has a way bigger splash then tanks, keep in mind that tanks once the are in the spot can keep shooting every few seconds. The planes have to refill their bombs/rockets once they have dropped them
Thats not at all why. Splash is determined by explosive filler not vehicle type.
They can play anything they want. Just not in the very beginning where everyone is fish in a barrel just so they can all respawn again wasting time or is that what pilots call skill?
Make it so that they can’t spawn the first 2 minutes of the match and all the issues will be solved with this. Even BF did this because it’s just really cheese to wipe a team at the start without any way to counter it.
While I am not unsympathetic to the idea. I do have a solution to your problems. Run for it and Serpentine.
I agree that it’s the solution through the rest of the game. The issue is that you’re pretty much at the mercy of the plane at the start of the game on a lot of maps.
It takes the plane about 20-30 seconds to reach the spawn and I only find it to be a real issue on Normandy. And even then it’s only ever an issue once because once the game gets underway it’s almost pointless to spawn camp with the plane. On Conquest focus on hitting an open point and on Invasion focus on tanks unless you’re attackers.
Because the tank HE weights about 0.9kg and has about 30 grams of actual explosive, whereas the aircraft rocket warhead weights 40.8kg and has about 10kg of explosive in it.
the effects are fine for what they actually were.

Everyone pointing out BeCaUsE PlAnE hAs BiG BoMb, I guess my points are more crying about how op planes are, specifically at the start of matches, and how underpowered HE rounds are because if were going to be talking realistic KiLoGrAms of explosions I feel like whatever HE has should do more than get hit marker (if that) if you say, hit the wall right next to where an infantry is standing. Pretty silly
