I think the planes are so annoying. You run over 200m on the map and we are just destroyed with one blow. The planes are so unbalanced that they have at least 50-60 kills at the end of the round. The planes are for normal mortal by the way unplayable the control is as if I am somewhere in the mountains assembling my PC ’Laugh’ The Conquest mode is my knowledge just much too boring he does not ask for tension and the feeling of realism. In addition, I find it quite annoying that the German tanks are 10 000 000x times better than those of the Americans. I play this game at least 3/4 Hours a day but it just frustrates me so much that sometimes I could really freak out. I pray the planes are patched and Conquest disappears. We need more attack, invasion or was there also conquest in WW2? It’s so easily sucked out of Cod/Battlefield and they haven’t been able to do it for years.
Most people can easily get 50-60 kills at the end of a round without planes.
Planes are fine, they can easily be shut down by another pilot, or by effective AA. I’ve lost count how many times my team mates whined in chat about enemy bombers, so I hopped in a plane and cleared the sky. They are only incredibly effective when you ignore them.
At the same time, if you ignore a tank, he will delete your team just as fast.
They really aren’t.
Puma and Stuart can easily nuke each other. The Pz 3 N has a weird behaving gun that sometimes doesn’t deal damage, not entirely sure what’s up with that, the M8 scott wins out here, it can easily 1 shot the german tanks with HEAT, and lob devastating HE at the cap zone.
Towards the end, you get the Jumbo, which the germans have nothing to counter with. The only thing germans can do against the jumbo is throw detpacks at it, or use CAS to bomb it into next week.
The allies are the ones that get the better tanks. Minus the puma, but then again, Puma has a broken damage model, so that’s not exactly a fair comparison.
You can say the same thing about being sniped. Run 200 meters, get you and your squad shot in the face by a dude sitting in a bush.
Jumbo: What about me?
I´m sorry, but this topic ignores essential facts like jumbo, M8 HEAT, pilots being blind as bats (yes, you can have good runs if teammates are marking targets for you, otherwise it is just a blindfolded whack a mole guessing game). And lets not forget the fact that you can get sniped by anybody after any distance which makes running 200m and getting killed by a plane argument irrelevant as well.
And lastly, devs are working on more invasion modes, probably assault as well so that last argument is not valid either.
There is probably no point in having this topic.
Of course it makes sense. The planes are just way too strong and it is not fun to start a round and die the whole time of planes. The planes are just way too strong with their bombs and it’s just a shame to defend it. Of course there are also the campers who kill you after 200m when you are running. But it can’t be that the bomber drops the bomb 40m in front of me and I still die of it. The tanks of the Americans are full of scrap the first tank of the Americans is still relatively ok but still the German tank against the other only 2 shots and the Americans 3/4 just an unding. the second tank of the Americans is just a joke because you can throw a grenade at the steel the thing It’s gonna break. Above is also open that you as a German equal my whole Destroying tanks. the tank is just so grotto bad. At least he’ll destroy 2 out of 10 tanks I see Luckily I don’t play tanks anymore because it’s just bullshit

that feeling when SMGs and machineguns make under 100 frags and they don’t need target marking or avoiding enemy planes but noobs complain about steel bird that makes flip-flops onto ground after few AA hits.

you don’t know main detail-honestly tanks are papersh*t that get killed in much ways and easy to spot. i personally made this result shooting HE at spawn that was stupidly put in full-visible position in building so i played kind of SR. anyway planes are still weak if they don’t have 500kg and if enemy has enough brains to build AA. it’s kinda problem of teamplay and stupid randoms while planes lack repairfields, visibility, space for maneuvers and adequate control system

If you’re gonna try to brag, at least make sure you have something to brag about. 25 deaths for 108 kills is really sad. To make it worse, it was done in an environment that is more bots than actual humans.
Bragging about farming kills in Lone Wolf is the same as bragging about winning an MMA match against 2 year old baby.

Not trying to be elitist, but the amount of deaths rather points on having also considerable amount of kills from infantry squads and tanks. So 108 kills proves nothing.
Besides, you can cherry pick good battles (or measure ego with other players) even with planes only all you want, I and anyone else can do that too. However, that doesn´t change a thing on you ignoring the facts that planes are blind as bats and unless you get lucky in your blindfolded whack-a-mole, you are usually not getting many kills (unless you get lucky run on open top cap or spawn), plus you are being useless for your team. However, if you team up with somebody or your team is responsive, you can actually be both helpful and effective.
Of course that all applies under assumption that enemy team are monkeys who are not even attempting to shoot you down, or enemy is unable to spawn planes at all (because you know… P2W premium and purchasing active squads bullshit exists, but apparently not in that team that just happened to have tanks instead).
Planes are only annoying from time to time.
I used to think I was great getting 80 kills in a plane. Then I realized that was small in comparison to what I could do on the ground. (Now I only fly if I’m chilling or my team is doing well enough already So I don’t have to lead the charge)
Infantry kills are nothing in a plane, I judge a pilot by vehicle kills. Much more useful to the team.
You probably should try to not take the most obvious routes, as that is where planes will bomb. Find some building, or alternative route.
50 kills isn’t exactly a high bar, knowing people get 200+ kills in the long invasion matches.
Germans best tank: Pz4H
American best tank: Jumbo
Yeah no Jumbo is miles better.
Pz3N is better than M8, and Puma is arguably better, but in the endgame, USA is strictly better.
hold up here i nuke jumbo to hell and back with my Pz4H i dont have any problems with that you can also use Pz4J because 4H and 4J are practicly the same only a little bit different
You cannot penetrate the UFP, LFP or mantlet of a Jumbo. They can penetrate you anywhere and all you get is a MG port.
Being able to deal with a tank =/= having to put in the same amount of effort to kill that tank as it has to put in to kill you.
i fight against jumbos and dont have a problem you only need to be smart how to deal with them on open field ok its very hard but in city areas track them and flank them its easy and as my bad luck has it i have most of my tank fights in citys or area with mutch buildings
Yeah and they don’t have to be smart to deal with you. They have to just point and click. That is the point. The Jumbo has an easier time killing the Pz4 than the Pz4 has killing the Jumbo. It doesn’t need a 100% winrate to be unbalanced.
And of course, there is always the fact that the Jumbo never saw use in any part of Normandy, and should be removed for historical reasons.
my biggest problem with this game is more the point that i like to fly my bf 109 in normandy its fun
but most of the time i need to fight against a p38or 51 and a a20 at the same time i dont understand why the allied can have 2 planes in the air and the germans only one
